Of course, it has been confirmed to run everything
You do realize hardware power will be an issue, right?

Even if some games are exluded, the power will definatly be more than enough to run more than 2000 PC games (or more)
These systems will be rather powerfull, they rival current consoles

Tablets will likely struggle to run many modern games.
Show me some specs please.

that is blanket statement ... yeah of course it can run 2000 16-bit games. *facepalm*[QUOTE="loosingENDS"]

I mainly want them for the 1500+ older games though
And many games will run

Notice that I said "modern".
Older games will no doubt run (i'm talking quite old).
I think i can safely say that a PsP Vita is less fragile and sinse I already have a good laptop i don't need to spend extra money on gadgets. Not only that but the PsP vita is a system of it's own why would i want to buy a pc wanna be when I already have a good laptop ? and no I don't want to have a portable Pc to do what i already do on a pc somewhere else.
And yea i agree with some people you are a little dumb OP take me for example my laptop over heats i need an extra fan to play games on it how could you even expect a tablet to run things ? even photoshop takes considerate amount of computer energy ( depends on what you're doing on it ) and that tablet would just sh!t on itself. Do yourself a favor and spend your money on some nice clothes or buy a round of beer for your buddies. More tablets are just not needed.

These tablets will support any control method, keyboard/mouse/360 pad etc
Via the dock station, i have already seen a video with keyboard

Sure, why not ?
The hardware is almost near xbox 360 and they can have more ram too

$800-900 :?
Far easier than carrying around a tablet, especially with the control schemes you outlined.
lundy86_4
Not really, since you have to get a bag for Vita, a bigger bad for a small keyboard and the tablet wont be much larger
Vita is huge in size

If you have that huge thing in your pocket, then you can as well fit a PC tower in there too
No, i would not carry Vita like that

One advantage of the Fiona's design is that you can store a substantial battery in the grips on the side. My guess is that the machine if it IS using an i7 like the links says, it's probably using something like a Radeon 6630, which is a really low clocked 480 SP Turks GPU. However, Trinity is pretty much right at the same level as a DDR3 VRAM equipped Turks GPU.Also AMD is hard at work at making new GPUs that will definatly easilly run SKyrim
Note the "plays Skyrim on ultra-high setting"

Putting Vita in your pocket means you can put a PC tower in there as well? What ridiculous hyperbole. Tablets are larger than the Vita, and having to cart around a keyboard as well means portability isn't all that great. Let alone setting it up on the go.
Vita is far more portable and fits into a back pocket.

There are combat keyboards that take very little space
You can definatly pack tablet+KB in a small bag, just a bit bigger than the bag i would carry Vita around with
And with that i can play 100+ favourite games of all time, when i dont have a zero game i want to play on Vita

Compact or not, it's still an inconvenience. You're obviously not going to lug around a full desktop keyboard... I thought that was implied :?
No, you likely couldn't. Unless your definition of "a bit bigger" is drastically different from everybody elses.

you don't need a bag for a Vita at all ... I know 4 people who have a Vita and none of them need a "bag".And with that i can play 100+ favourite games of all time, when i dont have a zero game i want to play on VitaloosingENDSsemantics ... what does this have to do with mobility and convenience ???
I think the biggest problem Vita faces is Windows 8 tablets that will soon be able to play nearly all PC games in a far bigger screen and with various input methods choices
And will run full PC apps too as it seems, making them the absolute handheld gaming and workstation systemWhat do you think ?

Why did you have games in there tht aren't even on the PC, such as Zelda SS? Quick edit. Muramasa is a Wii exclusive and FF9 was never released for the PC.
Some of those games won't even play on the systems unless they're using considerable hardware within the tablets.
Samsung Series 7 slate tablet has Intel Core i5 Processor 2467M (ULV).
Both Intel and AMD will have new CGPU ULV products some time in Q2 2012.

I'll assume you're saying that it will play certain games. Naturally, price is going to be an issue. Especially when comparing to the Vita, which TC is doing.
How come you made no mention of Core i5/i7 in an x86 Windows tablet, as I usually see most of them based on? Even before that, Core 2 Duo and Pentium M were pretty prevalent in Tablet PCs as well. I don't expect to see that change much. That said, I do wish more of the business-class ones would use the newer AMD CPUs, only because the integrated graphics suck a lot less and Intel really needs the competition.NamelessPlayer
Intel Ivybridge ULV or AMD Trinity ULV will change the IGP issue in the tablet/ultrabook form factors.

Intel doesn't have direct competition in ULV "fat" CGPU segment.
This will change with the arrival of AMD Trinity ULV. AMD plans to displaced Bobcat based APU with Trinity ULV APU.
so now windows 8 tablets can play all pc games?stereointegrity
Intel Ivybridge's IGP just rivals AMD Llano APU's IGP. To maintain the IGP gap, AMD needs to release Trinity APU.
I'm sure Sony will be onboard Intel Ivybridge ULV and AMD Trinity ULV bandwagon.I think the biggest problem Vita faces is Windows 8 tablets that will soon be able to play nearly all PC games in a far bigger screen and with various input methods choices

Buttons. Deal with it.JohnF111they cant....people still live in fantasy land and tell themselves touch screen is just as good as physical buttons
Heyyyyyyyyy there you go. Perfect. I have a tablet, laptop, and a galaxy s2. Any gaming that needs to be done is done on either the console or laptop. Games for phones and tablets are really just time killers imo.personally i see it this way
Android Phones (iphone etc) = Cellphones (calls, texting)
Tablets = On the go 'office' work duties
3DS / PSV - gaming on the go..
