oviously all the ps3 fanboys are picking wiiU...
because xbox poses the biggest threat to sony compared to nintendo..
nintendos market is casuals/nongamers, kids, nostalgia, and as many gamers/hardcore gamers as they can
sony and xbox market are first and foremost gamers/hardcore gamers/"mature" gamers...so obviously xbox is seen as a bigger threat.
Wii U will be a nice secondary platform with great exclusives and unique games.
X1 will spend the gen trying to emulate PS4 and PC.
The answer is obvious.
X1
I would then resell it and buy a WiiU and put the extra money toward games like The Wonderful 101, X and the next Zelda.
You couldn't sling a XB1 to a drug addict in rehab even if you offered it with the promise of the next hit.X1

This forums stupidity never amazes me anymore, How is Wii U winning as of now?NationProtectorBecause the Wii U will wind up with better exclusives. The fun that Smash Bros alone offers is better than the promise of any of the Xbox One exclusives. Wii U is clearly a secondary console because of the lack of 3rd party games, but clearly a very respectable system given that it has W101, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin, Smash, Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8 (which looks really good), WW HD, DKTF, Zelda Wii U, and the potential to F-Zero, Star Fox, and Metroid titles in the future. It's a very easy choice.
Xbox One. For a couple of reasons. 1. It's the more expensive and I wouldn't have to shell out $500+ for it. 2. It has more NEW Exclusive IP's that I want to play. Most of the new Wii U games are more of the same.Zelda, Mario Kart, Pikmin, Super Smash Brothers, etc..

WiiU.
It'll be a nice gift for My Sister who wants one.
It also has a better Library than the X1.
LegatoSkyheart
It has the same library as the original Wii. Where are the NEW IP's?
It's cool man don't worry about it ;)Hmm... guess I'm going to have to give it a go then. Are there any QTE's? Like sequences of them a la Tomb Raider/RE4? Because I tried getting into TR, but just couldn't due to the ridiculous overuse of them. And having to restart the entire sequence from the beginning each time you fail.I fricken love the game. Still not actually finished it yet but I'm on the final chapter so I can make a pretty final assumption on gameplay after 10+ hours. It's a pretty fantastic game and I have no trouble saying on of the best this gen.
Of course it's not perfect like so many around here claim. It starts off incredibly slow and after 4 hours in I actually didn't feel that attached to it. Gunplay was sloppy, unresponsive and just all over the place in general. Yes there are things to explain that away but it just didn't feel good to control and that's what counts to me. COmpanion AI is still pretty broken the whole way through with enemies not seeing them or reacting to them. Example: In a room full of clickers Ellie sprints across the room and shouts "AW I HATE THESE THINGS!" and it breaks the immersion totally. Not THAt bad but in a game that nailed immersion and realism and disbelief so well up until then, those moments really shatter the illusion.
Other niggles like the game forcing you into gunfights and defending against wave after wave of enemy felt too videogamey, couple that with some "mini bosses" it fell into a few traps.
Over all still a solid game and it's Naughty Dog at their best. Characters are amazing, voice acting is fvcking excellent like the best around. Troy Baker is at his best in this and he knocks it out of the park. Visuals are also impressive at times (lighting, shadows) but it's a little inconsistent at the start. Later levels shine. And the Audio is the best around

There a few button mashing scenes, if I remember right.ArisShadowsMashing isn't as bad as scripted sequences that require exceptionally good reaction time. Hell, I beat MGS2 Substance on European Extreme. I can mash a fvcking button forever.
I would grab the Xbox One so I can sell it for ~$450 (not opened, brand new) and buy a PS4 with that money whilst making $50 profit.
if I didn't have a Wii U already, I'd pick that. It has the strongest first party in the industry backing it up and I intend to get a PS4 for everything else
Hrrrm. If I had each one in front of me, I couldn't choose until after at least one of them had a new game...

Yeah haha pretty much this haha.
Funny when wii u hit it was "not next gen" but now its oh shady MS, blah blah. It is more powerful than WiiU, had a great games line up at E3, and all the negatives are rescinded. Cows hate it because they are in a personal relationship with a corporation(?), and its cool to hate MS. I choose games first as a gamer. That's why I have a WiiU and PS4 and X1 on the way.Wiiu. I bitch about about that system but atleast nintendo never tried to pull all the terrible stuff microsoft did and then tell me to "deal with it". Yeah microsoft reversed a lot of that stuff, but just the fact they did it only because they were forced to instead of doing it for the sake of the customer makes microfsoft a company I dont want to support.
But luckily I can get a PS4.

That's good that you can see that.
Wii U easily, none of X1's exclusives interest me and I've never been a Microsoft fan. Â Plus I'd rather just get a PS4 than X1.
Well I have zero interest in an X1, and almost zero interest in a Wii U. I'd go with the Wii U, if I actually intended to use the free system. But, if I were given this choice after  building a new PC, I'd take the X1, just because it would fetch quite a bit more on ebay.Â
wii u, its just got the games. I feel like nintendo the only company thats trying to make fun games instead of super duper real life army shooters like everyone else. On the 360, the only games I really enjoyed as a single player expereince that was not shooting as kameo and viva pinata.

no doubt. none of them are paying me. im an adult, and I love gaming. so I try not to limit myself by pretending a company likes me. I see the excuse "just the fact that MS tried this and only changed because they were forced too", how is that different than sony having to be sued over DRE by gamers with the PS2? They weren't going to admit they effed up until a judge said hey, you greedy company, you effed up. None of them are different. And there were positives for this industry in some of those policies, but many are too short sighted to see it. They said they listen to their consumers and they proved it.Please Log In to post.
