Well if it is mainly an online game I get the game for the 360, but if it more campaign mode than I get it for the PS3. I don't know why but that's just how I roll.
Always the 360, That may soon change with Tekken 6, FF13 but things like Installs, load time, DLC, 1080p support, online, and graphics (no matter how slight) usually sides with the 360 vesion of mutiplats.
EDIT: And no, The PS3s manditory installs do not make it's load times faster than the 360. Half the time it just barly keeping up.

PS3 since the online is free.

I doubt you even have an Xbox. The question was to people with both systems, not just one. Xbox Live is much better than the PSN, it all seems easier to me.
Alright, who let the fanboy in?

I'm definitly not a fanboy considering all I have been playing lately is Killzone2, look me up REA24409. I am just saying, I own both systems but overall Xbox Live is a better online setup, any person with the PS3 and an Xbox knows that. I'm not saying the PSN is bad, but Xbox Live is just hard to beat. You are the one who clearly owns just one system.
Well, this is like the 3rd time I've seen a topic this week. Now, this is a worthy topic to poll. I'd like to seewho gets the most votes.

Depends on what my friends are getting really and if there is multiplayer. Other then that unless it is incredibly noticeable (Ghostbusters, FEAR) I don't care which. And the games are mulitplatform on both consoles, which system do you get it for? 360 or PS3?

Ok, you are assuming I own just one system, yet you've never been to my house. Also I said that I buy them for PS3 because it's FREE to play online. I didn't say anything about which service was better. Frankly, the PS3 does just fine when it comes to online gaming. And doubting a person even has a particular console just because that person prefers to buy multiplats for a different system is clearly on the line of being a fanboy. You doubt I have a 360 because I prefer multiplats on PS3. That's ignorance on your part. Your the one who attacked me. I clearly did not attack you prior to your statement. Only someone insecure would do that.
360. so far its proven to usually have higher frame rates and better visuals. im talking about all the comparisons gamespot does between the consoles. the exeption is oblivion which is much better on the ps3. to bad i bought it on the 360 since the ps3 version was released a whole year later.
one game that stands out is fallout 3. read the gamespot comparison to see how the ps3 really lacks overall compared to the 360 and PC

Well most people who have a 360 have online, which they payed for. So if you have both systems it shouldn't really matter if the PS3 is free unless you don't have online for the 360 which you own. The only reason why I sorta attacked you was because I didn't feel like hearing from one sided posters, the question was for PS3 AND 360 owners, not just PS3 owners. It's just your comment seemed like a person who just owns a PS3, I mean I don't see no Gamertag in your sig, but I do so a PSN id. You're just lying to yourself if you are saying you own both systems.

This. The only exception is if I have more friends getting a multiplayer game on PS3 or if a single-player game is better on 360. It's usually pretty easy for me to pick what platform to get which game on. The only thing that I'm debating is what to get Modern Warfare 2 for... might end up getting it for both if by some miracle I have the money:P.
Depends, having more friends on PSN i'll probably get it on PS3.. However if the 360 version is better in a way that it might effect gameplay (ie. framerate drops, frequent screen tearing etc etc) then i'd get it for my 360..
In case of games such as FIFA2010 & Modern Warefare2 i'll probably pick bothversions :P
PS3. I prefer it for a lot of reasons. I only have my Xbox for the couple of games that I can't play on PS3 or PC. The mutlitplats may be better on the 360, but its never enough to make me want to listen to those loud *** fans.
Oh, and for online games I definitely go with PS3. I enjoy the free online and radio silence to the "better" online and chatty community.

I try to spare my 360 the brunt of yet another RROD (I have them once a year, annually) or another E74 (I luckily only got this 360 crippling failure once!).
So, unless the MULTIPLAT is significantly altered (Namely Fallout 3 when it first came out), or if one system has more DLC, I go 360 or PS3. It doesn't matter.
I won't outdo my 360 anymore by buying only Multiplats on it, that's a RECIPE for RROD, no thanks!
Friendslist isn't a problem, my PS3 and 360 lists are almost maxed out.
Usually 360 because all my friends play on XBL at least most of them. Most of my PS3/Wii games are all exclusive.
Depends what system I played the first ones on or if its a new ip, it depends what Controller I prefer for the genre, most on ps3 I prefer the controller but if it has Extra dlc on 360 I get it for that, also I get it for the 360 if it is clearly a better looking game, like Fallout 3 difference
360, I don't even think about getting multiplats for the PS3, actually I bought that Street Fighter 2 hd remix on the PSN, too bad it didn't have trophies or did they patch it up already?

The times I think about getting multiplatform for the PS3 is when the game doesnt have multiplayer. Only game I believe I have like that is Dead Space. Other than that...I love to play the PS3 exclusives.
Eurogamer has a great section whre they compare multiplats. I just look up the game in question and buy the superor version, which (I hate to say) usually is the 360 version. If the versions are equal I buy the PS3 game unless it's a shooter for which I prefer the 360 controller.
Thats exactly what i was going to say but personally i like more my 360.even though im waiting patiently for the new God of War 3 to come out!! :)I get all multiplats on the 360 because i prefer the controller and xbox live.
