If you own a PS3 and a 360....

Multiplat games I get for the Xbox360. It's pretty much the default console platform for multiplat games for me.

+DLC content normally first on the Xbox360 e.g. FallOut 3 , GTA 4

+Multiplats often times look better

+most of my frined are on Live I prefer the NXE dashboard

I use the PS3 mostly to watch bluray movies and some exclusives - MGS4, KZ2 and some arcade games.

I also get exclusives for the Xbox360 Halo3, Halo Wars, Gears of War, Crackdown, Left 4 dead.

360 for me for a few reasons:

-All friends are on 360

-Live is better service even though you shouldn't have to pay for it

-I'm a Gamerscore whore

-Sony controller cripples my hands

I only really use my PS3 for exclusives and therefore have only player 4-5 games on it (Resistance, Formula One, LBP and KZ2)

Why are fanboys in this thread?

You love your console and think its the greatest and it is superior in everyway (even though they all have flaws) why comment?

i usually get all of my games on the 360. I know more people (in real life) that I enjoy playing with. If a game has multiplayer, I only enjoy playing with friends only other wise I refuse to play. For instance Ghostbusters online. :/ Plus bf doesnt own a ps3

I usually get them for the 360, but that's mainly because my friends list is bigger on XBL than PSN. Other than that, I wouldnt have any preference.

i almost always get it for 360 coz of better controller, live and its just better. i made a HUGE mistake buying UT3 on ps3, only to find out barely anybody played it.

PS3 because I prefer the controller a lot more than 360's (I have grown up with Playstation, so I cant stand the Xbox Controllers)PSfanboy101

It depends on the game. If one version is blatantly inferior, I'd get the other (Fallout 3 on 360). There are various factors involved too...

1.) Controls: I got SF4 on PS3 because of the d-pad. COD4 on 360 because of the controller.

2.) Online functionality: I'm currently buying online-heavy multiplats on PS3 because I'm not going to renew my XBL.

3.) Historical association: Buying FF13 & Tekken 6 on PS3 because of my historical brand associations. If SC Convictions were to go multi, I'd still buy it on 360. If I get Dark Athena later, I'll get it on 360 as well.

What you're claiming is simply not true.

To me it's the same, I just buy the multiplat that are the cheapest for one of them. If it's cheaper on Xbox 360 I'll get it on it, if it's on PS3 I'll get it on it. If it's both the same price, well I'll think about it.:P
