I'm sorry, but I can't stop, especially since he hypes Wii games regularly, and called this game part of the Wii's "awesome" March lineup. Seriously, if this is a sign of the Wii's March.....but I doubt it. MadWorld looks awesome.

We've all hyped games, we all get excited at promises of the future, of experiences still yet unexperienced, but does that mean we should be punished and humiliated for every failure. Is this what things have come to? Willy dared to believe in the goodness of Sonic, in the history of Sonic, in the good times that were had, and Sega let him down. Sonic failed him. Willy's only mistake was that he trusted the goodness in all things, hoped and longed that Sonic would be revived to his former glory. Is that something we should be mocking... trust, in this day and age. For shame.

Nay, Willy, like all of us, has a fanboy that lurks deep down, can we say there is not a fanboy in each of us, if you cut Willy does he not bleed the same blood that carries the DNA structure that encompasses his fanboyism like us all?

He hyped, so let him hype I say, let him hype for the goodness that he sees in all games (plus his threads tend to actually be decent), and let him fall at every turn on that sacred sword of trust and hope. So mock Willy and shame yourselves you defilers of hope, Kings of Manticores who have never cast a stone of hype.

I'm really waiting for other reviews. I like the change in formula with Sonic games to be honest. I don't go into each new one wishing they were the same as the Genesis ones. Those were great but I don't want every game to be the same. Just as I don't want every Mario game to be the exact same thing. However it was clear what the IGN Wii team wanted from the start and they were all set to dislike this game or take the bat to it. You can tell that from how they talk about Sonic on their podcast. They seem to be against any game that isn't just pure running when it comes to Sonic. So really their review, well most of their Wii reviews are suspect anyway due to how personal they make them. I'm not saying I expect this game to be great but a 3.9 makes no sense when you consider on average the type of games Sega puts out and when it comes to their flagship franchise. This really is a game I have to play myself as I can't, and this is an increasing thing, accept IGN's review.NeoStar9

Maybe 99% of GS will be eating their words. But I doubt it.

SEGA should do what Capcom did to Mega Man; make a new old school Sonic game for XBLA/PSN/Wiiware. That could save Sonic for a little bit.

The funny thing is, if you glance at the review, it looks like they got evrything right except the gameplay. This is beyond sad. Poor sonic, maybe we should make a thread where the gamers come up with ideas to fix sonic since sega obviously sucks at it.

That's been the problem with every Sonic game since Sonic Heroes. It's really time to take the poor Hedgehog behind the shed. The last great Sonic game was the compilation package for the PS2/GC/Xbox.

Well I've had enough, I decide not to buy ANYTHING from SEGA until they make a good 3D Sonic game. I just can't stand this lazy development anymore. I tried to defend the Sonic Team with Sonic Unleashed but they couldn't even managed to do anything close to Sonic & The Secret Rings now? That's just stupid....

And I'm even speaking of The Conduit, it's published by SEGA then I'm not buying it!

They need to stop. I hate to be *that guy* but let sonic go with dignity. That or bring him back in a 2d revamped retro kind of way. I wouldnt mind seeing a paper mario for wii relapse, sonic-alized every once in a while.
