I think they broke down pretty fairly. Of course you going to get fanboys on this site said that IGN is bias. Its pretty obvious gametrailers now IGN has Xbox the console of the year.

I wish they did system of the year instead of console by the year I think console wise Wii>360>PS3, but the 360 did have RDR, ME2, Bayonetta, along with its exclusives so I can see why

But the PC had one hell of a year, I hate it when people neglect it

This was a great year for each platform though. Personally the 360 is at the bottom of my list for 2010, but I can easily see why others would consider it the best.

Looking back at it, no one had a GREAT year. Sure, there were a number of good games, but no consoles had an overwhelmign amount of great exclusives (except the Wii, maybe, but that barely counts considering it lacks any of the great multiplatforms this year). This was a great year for multiplats. They're the real winner. Next year's a different story.

I honestly don't get how the Wii lost, it had by far its strongest year ever. Biggest and most diverse line up of AAA and AA's, and even the only AAAA of the year. Its honestly a head scratcher but o well. It is what it is.

does it matter though? even IF they had all the multiplats that the others had we all know they wouldn't be as good as the other consoles/PC

IMO, the wii's strength's has always been they're exclusives and one of a kind games...buying a wii for the multiplats would just be silly

i love my wii, but even i wouldn't buy black ops for wii over the 360/ps3/PC version
