IGN: Killzone 2 needs some fixes before release.

Killzone 2 has:
So-So Weapons
No Engaging Context
Overly Chatty, Occasionally stupid & Frequently unambitious AI
Vanilla Enemies (Generic)
Pacing Issues and Scripting Letdowns

We're looking at a 7.5 at the most if they don't clear these things up before the game's release.

I'm willing to bet they wont. So here's an idea, quit hyping this game.

So it begins. I personally think that this is going to be one hell of a shooter that will outshine most on many fronts, and will feel like just another QUALITY shooter in other areas as well. However, I am willing to bet that there are many in the gaming media that are just chomping at the bit to nit pick the hell out of this game, and will ultimately dock it for every little flaw that they can find merely because of all the controversy and hype surrounding it.

Rest assured, no matter ho good it ultimately ends up being in reality, despite some flaws and shortcomings that it is bound to have, like ALL shooters do, it is going to get nailed hard by some reviewers, bet on it. This game has had a bullseye on it since 2005 and some in the gaming media are merely waiting for the chance to line up their shot and pull the trigger-effectively shooting down every little thing they can find wrong with it. Meanwhile, other high profile shooters that have not been mired in so much controversy and hype get a pass for whatever flaws they may have.

true, true, its funny how x360 games get a free pass with all the glitches, broken mp, see ME and Geow2, cough. etc but ps3 games are being nit picked to full extent

Even the shotgun – that staple of the FPS genre – just isn't that compelling. This thing doesn't feel like raw death in your hands. It feels like slapping someone with wet newspaper. Slapping them very very hard with a semi-automatic newspaper, of course, but a slap nonetheless.IGN

COD4 is an amazing game no doubt but all those problems are things wrong with shooters and FPS's in general .

Polishing is what they will be doing for the next 2 months, something that mass effect on x360 and many other 360 games should of had.

It's only a preview code and there's still a couple of months for Guerilla to fix it. and wow you only put the negative ones.jmdude
