Earlier this week, Xbox Live launched Facebook on the Xbox 360. Over there, you're getting the real Facebook; you can post, comment, look at photos, and so on. Here on the PS3, you're getting none of that. What you can do here is post purchase information, game events, and Trophy information to your Facebook profile.
who the hell thought facebook on any console was a good idea anyway? Facebook has been on PS3 since launch. It has a damn WEB BROWSER.

You realise the PS3 has a web browser, so you can already post, comment and look at photos....from launch.

So why bother releasing it in the first place?

Look at youroriginal post....that's why. IMO, it's not needed.

Pretty sure thats a quote from IGN NOT HIMWhen did the simple convenience of getting up and go on your PC for browsing Facebook became obsolete? :|
We should be getting myspace at this rate someday...
Come on, (this isn't for the pure Facebook haters) Anyone with their fanboy goggles off can clearly see that the Xbox 360 on trumps it. The PS3 browser is terrible, even compared to the Wii browser, due to the fact that the Wii remote is mouse like. The PS3 facbook update was stupid and dumb, and this comes from a person who has had their PS3 since may 2008, and their 360 since September this year. I'm no fanboy, this was just Sony's desperation to try and get in on MS thunder. I'm not the friend of either company.IGN says the PS3 version of Facebook is dumb. Link

Hahaha, dude, anything goes in system wars. Sadly, this will upset some people.
Greg Miller? that loser actually has friends on Facebook .....oh did I mention what a horrible reviewer he is....I don't know how he got his position....oh that's right he is a tool...easy to keep a job when you're a tool.
oh HAI Greg..
I have no idea who this man is. But his expression makes me want to hit it. With a car.No one really cares about Facebook. But this is just another example of why XBL destroys PSN in every way.

You could already do all of that on PS3 ...
You guys don't get it. They're obviously talking about the integration of it into the system.
It's sad how some people fail to grasp even the simple things in life.
Hmm..Yet both versions are "worthless"
If I want to use facebook, I go to my computer.

this. It's an extraneous thing on a console.

but the ps3 have nearly full intergration with Facebook through it's web browser. So does this means now that PSN destroys XBL in every possible way?No one really cares about Facebook. But this is just another example of why XBL destroys PSN in every way.
RAGINGxPONY
The PS3 facebook is terrible. Full stop. I ahd hoped PSN's would have been better then the 360's which is also pretty crappy.
All in all, im dissapointed by the Facebook intergration, after i was one of the few people supporting the idea. It just seems poorly intergratred, and has so few options.
