I'm addicted to Facebook, and I could assure you, that I would never use it on a console.

Oh my god. This fanboy crap needs to end with this issue. Ok here is how it is...

Facebook belongs on the PC, therefore, it is crap on consoles.

With that said,

Facebook on PS3 > Facebook on Xbox 360.

PS3 owners have always been able to go on facebook from their web browsers, whether you think it is crappier than on the PC (which is true) is not what we are here to discuss.

Facebook integration on PSN < Facebook integration on XBL.

Though we have to keep in mind that Sony might have thought that we could already go on Facebook on the web browsers therefore the integration on PSN didn't have to be huge.

Therefore, overall...

Facebook is better on the basis;

PC > PS3 > Xbox 360.

The PSN web browser is dumb! I wouldn't expect anything from a PSN facebook to begin with. I have a PC for a reason and the PS3 versions should only be used as a last resort.

I have around 70 friends on my Live friends list and no one has linked their tag to Facebook yet besides me, so pretty much the feature is useless to me on Lie because everyone is scared to show what they really look like :evil:

Ahhh someone doesnt have friends and/or doesnt go out much. I actually meet a lot of hot girls using Facebook. They usually find me using the town search feature and we start talking, exchanging phone numbers, meeting up together, etc. That and i keep in touch with my family and high school mates

How dumb can the writer(s) of these articles be? Since PS3 has had a browser (aka forever) we could use the 'real facebook' what's been added is a plus unlike the xbox 360 facebook which is a paid version of what we get for free on pc and ps3.

This really impressed me. the lack of a brain or one that uses logic it's the only plausible explanation for this analysis.

It is useless on both considering you can get Facebook on a computer.

if i wanted to go on face book i would

A. Use the actual PSN Browser

B. Use My Laptop thats about 10 feet away

or

C. Use my cellphone

Why would anyone want to post there achievements/trophies/ in game pics on facebook, thats just straight up goof ball.

wow what a surprise, LIVE does another thing better than the PSN? I mean I like this feature and if it didnt matter like all the experts are saying I wonder why SONY pushed it out so fast to match what MS did. Casuals love this stuff, and I actually use it. Im a bigger tech guy than 90 percent of people on this forum and I use the feature so go figure. :lol:

Good news for 360 but i really dont care about this an a console.

I think wasting time debating Facebook on a gaming fourms is dumb :D

About 2 months ago my pc, and laptop broke down, and I resorted to my psp, and ps3 to gain access to the internet...

Facebook did not really work... I could see status updates, but I was completely unable to comment, post, or even "like" anything. Maybe it got an update and everything's fixed, but I highly doubt 99% of ps3 users even bother unless put in a situation similar to mine.

As far as every other site it was very hit or miss, and just about anything that was even slightly complicated didn't work about 1/2 the time. Also I forgot to mention that the thing crashed constantly.

Anybody want to respond to this thread using their ps3??? Hell has anybody even been able to post on system wars using a ps3? The ps3 browser is basically ICE only.
