IGN's Game of the Generation is...

There is the conspicuous absence of Starcraft 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Civilization 5...

Shitty list is shitty.

Portal 2 is the only game that deserves to be there.

I think, individually, the Wii, PS3, and 360 had more exclusives on that list than the PC. Like, wow, the Wii probably at least quadrupled it.

Also, no handheld games? This list sucks because of this reason. I'm not saying the DS and PSP were comparable to the consoles of the seventh generation, but there were definitely some games from both platforms that should've cracked the top 100.

People seem to forget a simple point, pc for multiplats, consoles for exclusives, since 90% of that list is multiplat, yes, PC WINS AGAIN.

their list is wrong and they should feel bad.

MGS4 sitting at 59 ... HA, no just no. Also I found Galaxy 2 to be the better game. How is it that that is sitting at #20 and Galaxy 1 is at #1 quite a gap for such similar games.

Its not the list thats the problem. There no such thing is Game(s) of the generation. You can rate and rank Apples and Oranges. Ofcourse theres going to be people who diasgree with whats in the list, but its not the list thats subjective... The whole thing is Subjective ! And it only exist because people still can't grasp basic Apples and Oranges.

List is objectively awful. There's just no possible way you can justify placing Halo 4 that high.

This list is about console games . PC don't have any generations , that's why you can't see games like Civ 5 , Starcraft 2 , LOL etc on that list even though those games were huge . Witcher 2 on that list is Xbox 360 version of the game which wasn't the same game that we got on PC . It was extremely downgraded and dumbed down version (Like original Crysis)

Both Skyrim and Fall Out 3 are best played on PC.

Thanks to the modding communities - which make the games actually better than they initially were when released lol.

Played 45 of those games, good list, Although like a lot of people on here i feel that SMG 2 was better than SMG

The fact that Uncharted 2 is #11 and Call of Duty 4 is #10 just makes me cry.

why is that? It is unfortunate that COD4 spawned the yearly COD release and modern warfare MP craze, but it was a great game

Great seeing TLOU getting the rightful recognition. Amazing game to end last gen.

Knowing ND is already in pre-production stages, I'm looking forward to see what ND cooks up for the sequel.

Its not Last Gen yet... The PS3 and 360 are just as much current gen Consoles as the The One and PS4.

We're in a Cross generation transitional phase.

I just think that as good as Call of Duty was, at least with it's MP, it has nothing on Uncharted 2. But that's just my opinion
