Final Fantasy IX and Persona 4 that low? Tales of Symphonia over Witcher 2? Kingdom Hearts II over all of them? Really? IGN, you literally asked for this sh*tstorm. The ONE thing I would say they got right is acknowledging The World Ends With You, but then they go ahead and put Chrono F*cking Cross ahead of it.

Mass Effect 2 made its entry, and it was beaten by Monster Hunter Tri! Think about that for a second :lol:

I liked where Golden Sun, Dragon Quest V, and Xenoblade Chronicles were placed. Let's see what tomorrow brings us.

I can see it now: 90% of all games between the 80's and 90's are console JRPGs and 90% of all games from this generation are WRPGs

becase as well know: there were no WRPGs during 80's and 90's

I think its cool that they mentioned Heroes vi, that game is so underrated.

The fact that they even acknowledged Ys I&II, Illusion of Gaia, Lufia II and Shadowrun (SNES) makes this list good.

I bet my nutsack that Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 will be on the top 3.

I'm surprised to see Diablo 3 on there. It's a great game but I figured most people, including critics, saw it as a disappointment. Kingdom Hearts should of been higher.

All I know is that both Xenoblade and Radiant Historia better be on there.

I think the main problem with this list so far is the amount of Japanese RPG's, far too many in my opinion, as lets face facts, they're pretty crap. Games like Dungeon master should be much higher up the list. I'd also say Eye of the Beholder 1 and 2 should at least make the top 20 and Morrowind a suitably high position.

nah it's a little known but well proven fact that JRPGs are better than WRPGs.

Haven't they done a list like this before? Oh wait, 10 new RPGs came out and some people took care of their nostalgia by playing older games so they don't feel as attached this time around. Time to change it up!

The first one should be the Mass Effect trilogy... well, it's three games, but the points is that this 3 games together make the best RPG experience ever created by mankind.

I'd much rather see Skyrim as number 1 than Mass Effect. Atleast Skyrim can be considered an actual RPG.

I love people that b**** when they've only seen up to 80 on an 1-100 list....the list seems fine to me its an opinion article....by the way Persona as a series sucks balls it is a horrible series of jrpgs.
but since you like it maybe you should wait till you see if Persona 1-3 made it into higher areas of the list? and stop acting like person 4 is perfect and therefor it is wrong to put it so low in the list even though they are still saying its an amazing game...
