The DC is absolutely hilarious. Do people find it so hard to believe that a PS3 exclusive sold 3.8mil ? If someone said a Halo game sold that much in one day, everyone would be all like :"As expected." Because obviously, the 360 is a sales juggernaut while only 6 people in the world own the PS3.

Its just not likely that it sold so many units in a single day to consumers. It definitely sold well but that would be absurd.

Hey, weren't you the guy talking about how if you buy 100 cases of milk, and it sells, you buy more, but if you buy 100 cases, and it doesn't sell, you drop the price? So I guess Retailers sold their initial shipments of Gears (3 million in a week), so they reordered... but sales dropped down to a few hundred k by the second week, so they cut the price, barely 5 weeks after launch. Since everybody is saying there's no way that 3.8 million initial sell in will sell through, we ought to see Uncharted's price drop within 3-4 weeks, right? We should make a betting pool for how long till the price is cut.

Those sigs that you make that you committed absolutely ZERO mental energy into making as a light hearted joke actually DO have emotional effects on people.

Remember when I had that Battlefield 3 signature? the one that said "BF3 = Beta Fail 3"? I got hate mail from Battlefield 3 fanboys when the MW3 Gamespot score came out because of my sig. People assumed I was a MW3 fanboy (I have no care or intention whatsoever to buy MW3 or BF3, both are garbage AFAIC) for the sole reason that I was trolling BF3 fanboys when they failed to realize that I had an identical sig trolling Modern Warfare 3 before that.

The sig said "M.W.3 = Money Wasted 3rd time" (an identical play on words to the same effect, and it was up there for LONGER than the BF3 sig mind you) and didnt get a single PM from CoD fans.

Keep in mind I wasnt even TRYING to troll or annoy BF3 fans, I just put the sig up there as a joke and didnt commit any second thought whatsoever. I actually forgot the sig was even up there. The only reason I didnt take it down sooner is because I simply didnt care enough to bother to change it.

Yet people actually meditated on it, and waited around for the score to come out just to "own" me (as if I cared about either game :roll: ). Their own insecurities forced them to identify me with MW3 fanboys even though I repeatedly told them I didnt care about either game. So realize that those sigs DO have an effect on people.

I THEN created this thread (which I posted in during class yesterday, and have only posted about 6-7 times in the last 18 hours or so. Since then, others (including the guy I quoted) created another thread, and have committed WAY more thought into this than I have. What you fail to realize is that every single post ive made throughout all of this is me getting entertainment (with subtle trolling) while others here are legitimately bothered by this. Whether the numbers were true or not I would have slept perfectly reguardless. I cant say the same for others in this thread.....

You fail to realize that I get ENTERTAINMENT from this. I am not "cleaning up" any "damage", "proving" anything, making any "claims" nor do I have any agenda whatsoever with my posts. You however (along with the other guy) feel it is your duty to make sure that nobody believes this, and every post you make is an attempt to protect Microsofts reputation (I.E. by making sure nobody belives the Sony game sold more) and that is entertaining to me. That is the difference between ME posting and YOU posting ;).

You (and the other poster) have a clear agenda with every single post. I do not (other than subtle trolling without actually breaking the T.O.U.). And like I said, it is your own insecurity (and inherent bitterness towards sony) that causes you to liken me to a PS3 fanboy. It is the exact same scenario as that Battlefield fanboy I talked about on the other page who thought I was a Modern Warfare fanboy (which was a nothing more than a product of his own insecurity and bitterness towards CoD).
