I mean... Yeah those are good games. It's not a bad list though I'd wager many opinions float to the top of Best first party PS games ever.

I agree with this list, I played bout all on YouTube except a couple.

I disagree. Kind of irked, annoyed me they disqualified Bloodborne but technically Rachet & Clank, Spiderman was made before they were 1st party studio too.

Infamous 2 and not the first game is a bit of a strange choice, in my opinion.

@mesome713: Jumping Flash, Wipeout 2097, Gran Turismo 1-2, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, Kurushi, Arc the Lad, Legend of Dragoon, Adidas Power Soccer, Ape Escape, etc. Sony's PS1 first-party was more diverse and varied than their PS3/PS4/PS5 games which almost all belong to the same genre, cinematic third-person action-adventure.

Everyone is allowed an opinion regardless that IGN is often wrong.

Twisted Metal 2 should be on there and its embarrassing that it's not.

Spider-Man was an ok open world game, but it didn't resonate and stick with me like other great games usually do. Great swing and combat mechanics, ok game in general.

Ghost of Tsushima as well. Great atmosphere, ok game.

I was going to say maybe they were including games developed by studios they owned at the time, but Ratchet and Spider-Man are on here before Insomniac was acquired in 2019. Then I was thinking maybe it's only Sony owned IP...but then Sony doesn't own Spider-Man. Guess IGN is just trash at ranking PS games.

Infamous 2 was better in every way- graphics, animations, city design, voice acting, story, gameplay and powers. The Amp melee weapon is too fun to use to include Infamous 1 over Infamous 2.

I think a lot of Spider-Man fanboys rate that game higher than what it would be otherwise. Still a great game though. Traversal was more fun than most open world titles.

I would’ve placed GT 3 or any GT game I’ve played a lot higher. But I guess you have to take in mind what other people think when making that list.

5. Jak & Dexter: The Precursor Legacy (still the Goat on PS2)
6. Ghost of Tsushima
7. Horizon: Zero Dawn
8. Twisted Metal: Black
9. Soul Sacrifice (PS Vita)
10. Final Fantasy 7

Runners Up: Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Infamous: Second Son, The Order: 1886, Infamous 2, Uncharted 1, 4, 3, Uncharted: Lost Legacy, Wipeout Omega Collection, Gravity Rush/2, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Killzone 2, 3, Twisted Metal, 7 Haze.

IGN list was legit, so hey, you either take it or leave it.

That list is absolutely terrible.

That's how it goes though.. you know, with opinions and all. I mean... a bad opinion is still an opinion. I don't think a single game on that list would make mine, although SotC is probably a top 25.

Never owned a PS1/2 so cannot comment. HZD was good though.

I watched a video last night of a Warhawk (PS3) match. It brought a tear to my eye that modern Sony hasn't thought to bring Warhawk onto PS4 or PS5 yet. We really need a remaster with added single player or a sequel to it with the same feel (WW2 jeeps/tanks, etc)... not that Starhawk transformer crossover game we got instead.

best gameplay I have ever played. that game is solid. the story not as good as the first one but the gameplay mechanics and gameplay best naughty dog game to date.

I know you will never try it but your missing out on fun gameplay. when it comes to gameplay you know the reason why we play games not for the story.

can't wait for there fractions online. its going to be one of the best online games from sony in a long time.

omg me to. I tear up because I never had a game last me all gen long like warhawk.

but no need for a single player part. I just want warhawk remake.

starhawk had some great ideas. like base falling from space or respawn from space. but the gameplay was to slow. the snipers sucked in it with a laser sight so the enimy can just move back and forth when seeing it.

be cool to blend starhawk and warhawk together. keeping the fast past of warhawk but using the drop from space bases from starhawk.

be cool to drop a tank anywhere in the level. or a respawn base on top of the high rise or a hill were you use to land a warhawk on to snipe.

please sony bring back warhawk. dont they see people are playing it still to this day.

yes I do but in my divorce my son got my ps3 :( lol.

but I just want to play it with the ps5 controller lol.
