I'm actually liking the Wii drought

Since there aren't any new games to buy, I've been buying older Wii and Gamecube games that cost 20 bucks or less. Right now I'm enjoying Super Mario Sunshine, and after that I'll get Okami and Luigi's Mansion. And in the long run it's saving me money since those 3 games cost as much as a new PS3 or 360 game.

Indeed. It gave me an excuse to buy a PS3.

Demon's Souls is rather difficult.

A gaming drought is not a good thing. Nintendo needs to get more games pumping out.

Thats good for you, really but there are many Wii owners that are caught up on GC gaming and Wii gaming. They want new games, too bad they wont get any.

This is not a drought. This is a pandemic .......The Wii is on it's last legs. It will be dead with in a year.

I own a Wii, DS and 3DS.

Got like 20 Wii games.

I admit I may game a bit too much, but when a game I want comes out, I go and buy it, and usually beat it not long after. So the draught sucks for those of us who play games when they come out. Not sure why playing games when they come out makes me a nintendo hater. :|

Now that you mention it, if it weren't for the Wii drought, I wouldn't have started PC gaming.

I did this for about 6 months before I bought my Wii and PS3. I was playing all the old PS2 and Gamecube games I had yet to play, and I actually played a few of those very same games you list (Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart Double Dash, Okami, Resident Evil Remake, Resident Evil Zero, Dragon Quest VIII among many others). I was getting PS2 games on ebay for like $2.

That being said, the Wii is dead. There's almost nothing left. For me the only thing that would MAYBE make me bust it out again is Zelda, but it's taken so long and the Wii has been dead (for me personally) for so long, that I don't really see myself even getting Zelda.

Not being satisfied with a product I own is not trolling. Where have I ever said anything that was so wrong or out of place that it was trolling? I challange you to find a single example. It is more likely you took something out of context. I've always loved Nintendo, but to not be dissapointed with some of their practices lately would be weird.

I got most of my Wii games put away right now, but off the top of my head, Boy and his Blob, Zack and Wiki, Boom Blox, Wii Sports Resort, Sonic Colors, New Super Mario Bros, Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Arc Rise Fantasia, Metroid Other M, Goldeneye, Mario Kart.

This is why System Wars is pretty disgusting, fanboys will defend a company to death like they own 100% stock in it, and saying ANYTHING against it makes you a troll.

For the record, I did most of my collection and games on gamespot when I first signed up in 2008, I got a Wii in 2008, most of it is before I owned one.

I like the Wii drought because it really shwos the true colors of the Wii. Without its first party support it quickly becomes a paperweight since its 3rd party support is nearly non existent.

At least with the soon-to-be-one-year 360 drought without a single exclusive there have been dozens of multiplatforms games to play

There are a lot of level headed, good posters on SW, 110million being one of them. Is it wrong to be unsatisfied with the state of a console that you have bought or everyone always just look at everything through rose colored glasses?

The major diffrence with nintendo platforms is when there is no 1st party games to play you have to go to the bargin bin. On the ps3 for example you get exclusives but also good 3rd party support. So even if sony does not have a game for you the 3rd parties got you covered. This is why I am a pc gamer 1st there is no shortage of games,mods and people to play online.
