Im considering getting rid of my X360 for a PS3...

to be honest-no I wont (miss the 360 for the period I dont have one)-I just have not been that impressed...ive found myself playing my older consoles far more often-at this point I feel over suffocated by the FPS selection on 360-I simply do not enjoy Bioware games much at all, and Blue Dragon watching some gameplay is looking disappointing...Halo is cool...I'll get a 360 again but the Zephyr is much more worth my time and im sick of fighting with my console. Choice made-now I am going to exercise it probably in the next month or two....

overly saturated with shooters? what about all the RPGs: oblivion, lost odyssey, blue dragon, eternal sonata, fable 2, too human

 Oblivion is about the only non-shooter I care about on it-Eternal Sonata just doesnt look that good to me,I didnt like Fable 1, and Too Human doesnt click with me- Lost Odyssey looks like another Dynasty Warriors type game from watching the trialer....about the only game I really am interested in is Blue Dragon.

I would do it before the Dreamcast 2 (360) goes the way of the DC and you can't get much money for it. PS3 is the future of gaming.JimmyT2

I don't blame you, the unreliable hardware + bad tech support can trully dissapoint even the biggest MS fanboy, I'm thinking that the shooters argument is not really a valid one since there are a lot of quality games coming out for the 360 that are not shooters, but I still think that the PS3 is a good console, you just need to be patient untill the price drop. I'm sure PSHome is very appealing to you but just wait and see how the beta testing goes. Both are great consoles so you can't go wrong either way.
