I'm done with supporting Nintendo and their idiotic ways

a quick FYI I camped out for all 3 next gen systems Wii , 360 and PS3 and out of all of them the Wii was the only one I actually kep for myself and played that day, the PS3 and 360 for solely for selling at 6 times the price on ebay.

And what do I get ? Quite obviously Nintendo's worst mainstream / big system ever.

-mediocre launch

Lets see first off It launched with what like 8 games and all except Zelda were overall mediocre as a whole and yes that means Wii sports too. Excite truck was a bad tech demo, Wii sports has little to no depth yeah the boxing is a blast until it gets old since it isnt online. Not even a decent 3rd party game.

:Gamecube Launched with RL2 9.4, and Wave Race 8.5 with Smash and Pikmin within a month .even Luigis Mansions was great for the 5 hours it lasted IMO

Terrible Hardware

Last gen is the only one where Nintendo didnt have the most powerful hardware and even with that said GC held its own against xbox any day of the week RE4, Zelda tp, Prime, Star fox adv much ? And the Wii from a hardware perspective is just horrible. its barely more powerful than the xbox which means games like Alan Wake, RE5 , DMC4 , Assasin's creed , Unreal T 3 etc will never even be pausible on the system. And were only 2 years into this gen imagine in late 08.

:lets see in 2002 Nintendo said gamers dont want online, now they're implying we dont care about HD ........ another misstake yes. Nintedo still doesnt have good console online, and HD is my way of life now . I even bought the Component cable for the Wii for Zelda and it still looked better on my 25 in SDTV than on my 32 inch olevia 720p.

3rd party lineup

:maybe it could be because the wii cant handle any of the good games which is why its getting stuff like escape from bug island... or maybe its because Wii games dont sell unless they have the Nintendo brand on them want proof ? RE Wii sales 331,618 ... compared to the horrible wii play sales of 2,087,623...... Its happening again and Nintendo doesnt even know it .

thats great but why the hell couldnt you do both ? Your telling me you couldnt build a 360 hardware with a 40 gig harddrive and the wii mote for $299-$349. Theres a reason this works on the Handheld market its becuase most of the major series DMC, Final Fantasy new games, Kingdom hearts, Half life, Unreal , etc DONT EXIST ON HANDHELD

So enjoy those non HD cheap development cost , cause Big developers dont give a rats ass about it when they know they're Bioshock will sell 400k the first week. What your getting is tiny developers making a flood of garbage games.

Ps3 has - Resistance AA (possible franchise),Warhawk AA (ok its technically new but it aint been seen since what 1998?), Motostorm great online , Heavenly Sword probably AA,

Lazy Development

-Excite Truck was a $50 tech demo

-Wii sports didnt have online why ?

-Zelda made by one of the best developers in the world was uninspiring and was basically OOT with a wolf, wasnt nearly as impressive as Wind Waker

-the systems has what like 50 games rated under 6.9 already

Do I like Mature games DUH I'm 21 . Can I enjoy a light hearted comedy adventure with little to no violence yes . but dont expect me to simply roll over and except mediocre games with a new control scheme .......

Heres how it goes:

If you grew up with games like mario and Zelda you will want a Wii

If you like the clasics that you can download for 5-10 bucks you will want a Wii

If you have a lot of friends to hand out at your pad you will want a Wii

This is more than enough for me to enjoy the Wii.

If you do not fit into the above get the other systems instead. (I happen to own all three cuase im an adult and have a job.).

Each of the 3 has something to offer and I for one am glad that the Wii is different than the other two, otherwise I would have 3 systems that are too similar

Hmm a game that has been out for almost 2 years now vs something new, I mean seriously who hasn't played RE by now that they need to play it on the Wii, oh and EA and Ubisoft have jumped on board, I think they are doing alright

whoa where to start, umm considering that Wii has sold well since launch your argument is flawed. I like HARDCORE Nintendo franchises, you are prolly to young to understand that and so do a lot of people. Oh and they VC which like it or not is crazy amazing. Oh and go do something else besides play videogames, seriously 2-3 games will tide me over for at least two months unless they are ridiculously short. Oh and since I game across the Wii and PS3 and the PC I have more then enough games to choose from. Oh and I will get an XBox360 once there is a game that I have to have that doesn't go to the PC.

PS2 had a good launch, so did dreamcast, GC did aswell , Xbox had halo , 360 had a AAA and like 7 AA's too

You're joking right?

no, not at all. Nintendo's whole idea behind the Wii was Playing = Believing. Well, I played, and I believe that Metroid Prime 3 controls FAR better than any console FP game on any console. Period.

I suggest you go and find out for yourself.

I think a good comparaison between the effectiveness of the two control schemes would be RE4. Thanks to the Wii version, and I pull scores that I didn't even dream of in the Cube one.
