I'm pretty unimpressed with all the consoles this gen

The 360 has all of the harware issuse on top of over charging for xbox live and for there accessories.

the ps3 is too expensive and it's lack of games make it very undesireable right now.

the wii is great and all i have one but it's lack of great games and poor online have me dissapointed.

I try not to be biased in this tool be honest i'm unimpressed with the big three this year but please feel free to disagree with me I would love to here some other people's opinions.

I do agree there are some great games but i'm dissapointed in the console makers themselves.

well i dint have a console last gen so my opinion is pretty worthless however, i like the graphics this gen and the hardware issues are pretty much fixed with the new 360s see http://www.joystiq.com/2007/08/10/spot-the-hdmi-enabled-xbox-360-premium-at-retail/so as you can see it has a new heatsink in the new premium 360s so i dont see what your problem is..

I'm liking this generation just for the dramatic tension. Just think, at the end of this gen. we will know if trying to revolutionize gaming is better than just upgrading. It's going to be cool to see what happens.coreygames

I'm pretty damn impressed with this gen. FNR3 blew me away in graphics, Oblivion blew me away with the environments and size, Dead Rising blew me away with the graphics and the amount of zomibes (and the fun), Gears blew me away with those graphics and the great gameplay, Wii sports blew me away with the innovation, Twilight Princess blew me away with the fun and controls and length...and well. Pretty much everything in this gen blew me away.MADVLAD123

Games lack the first year of a consoles life span. Why do you think the 360 is the only one not lacking games while the PlayStation 3 and Wii are lacking some. Not to say those consoles are worthless. Anyway, next year will prove why this genreration is much better. I personally enjoy my PlayStation 3 a lot more than I did my PlayStation 2 when I got it.

I dunno about that personally, I'd rather be playing Resistance, Motorstorm, Oblivion and Dirt than anything the Wii has/will have.

I am unimpressed for the simple reason that there has not been a "must own" game released yet, at least IMO. Bioshock will most likely be that game, but it will be on PC so I'm still left with 0 reasons to buy any of the current gen consoles. Perhaps a title later this year will cause me to make the jump since there seem to be quite a few expected good ones.Derek240

Bioshock will most likely be that game, but it will be on PC so I'm still left with 0 reasons to buy any of the current gen consoles. technically im not. but i was playing fear and the bioshock demo and i will be playing the full game tomorrow so i figured id just change it to bioshock now. so yea its a lie im not actually playing it now.

If Nintendo had made the graphics quality of the Wii up to the 360 and PS3, AND added the Wiimote functionality, i would sell my soul to buy one, nomatter the cost. But the Wii in my eyes is a Gamecube with motion-sensing.
