Can't say I'm not surprised to see you defending a fellow Wii-fan, but anyhow -- it's prefectly reasonable to question one's actions if what he and/or she causes suspicion -- or a lack of foundation is seen. Such as, for example, some laddy came out and spouted things such as, Civilizations IV: Beyond the Sword is the worst strategy game I've ever played with shallow gameplay -- I'd question whether or not he actually owns and has played the game, due to how vague his statement is and how he has no foundation in his post.

I suspected that the OP doesn't own a Xbox 360 -- and so far, my assumption hasn't been proved otherwise. A picture is hardly compelling evidence, I can get on the phone and call a buddy and tell him to do what he just did, but in my case, do it for a Wii and have it ready within the next 15 or so minutes (time or whatever it took the lad to do it with his picture). All thwe proof I need is a gamertag, and I'll be... probably just, "cool".

Again, I don't see anyone attacking his opinions on the Wii -- we're trying to get the facts straight, that's all.

I have a 360 and a Wii and some times I wonder if I should have gotten the PS3 instead of the 360..(with MGS4 and LBP and such.)...but by all means the 360 games are great, but most of the community is terrible...but occasionally you will get the "good game guys!", out of some of the more developed players

very overrated console. Lemmings think that it's awesome because it's ebtter than the other 2 but it's pretty rubbish overall

• Least reliable hardware in home console history
• Tiny proprietary hard drive that costs far more than any other hard drive out there
• Lack of hard drive as standard and Blu Ray means developers are having to dumb down their games (See ID software)
• XBox live is THE ONLY online service you have to pay for and isn't much better than PSN (and a lot worse than Steam)
• Xbox live has basically stayed the same for the past 2 years
• lack of variety (every AAAE game for the system is a shooter or driving game)
• Poor JRPG lineup )only one AAE exclusive JRPG, no AAA or AAAA JRPGs)
• Practically every game ends up on the PC in ehanced form with free online and a lower price
• Lack of first party support

It says a lot about the console that one of its few AAA exclusives is Perfect Dark Zero, the game benefited heavily from being the first console to launch this gen. Look at how many of its "great games" in 2007 are hi res PS2 ports

For the record, I'm reporting anyone beyond this point who harasses him over his gamertag.

I've been really impressed with PS3 users on GS so far. I've received two PMs from PS3 users giving me their usernames and telling me to add them when I get one. They are so jovial.

First of all, lemmings have better things to do than 'destroy your rep'. Second of all, it would take about 1000 negative feedbacks to make a dent in someone's rep. Thirdly, doing such things is a TOS violation and is one of the fastest ways to get yourself banned from XBL.

Only a paranoid PS3 or Wii fanboy would make up such a ridiculous argument as to why they wouldn't share their gamertag.

Basically I have my Wii here but with no games, and it needs to be sold in order to repay someone who helped chiped in for me to buy it, and I need to give him that money back. So basically the Wii means $200. I could do it, but the 360s alright, and you have no idea how much I've returned stuff after buying it. I don't want to buy all my games again, because then that would mean I lost like $200+ buying the 360 in the first place. I liked Wii a lot more but I'm excited for the games coming up even though I don't have it. I'm probably going to kill myself when Zelda Wii comes out but by then hopefully I'll have the money to buy whatever I want.To tell you the truth I'm confused on what I should do. But ifI knew what I know now I would have just kept the Wii....ahh so uncomplicated... I could buy ACWW the conduit, Wii Sports resort. But I'm screwed over. I've been with Wii too long to leave it I guess.

TC, I won't give away your GT because I'm such a nice person. You've played five games on the xbox 360. Geometry Wars, Halo 3, Bioshock, GTA IV, and Bad Company. You've only completed the introduction level of Bioshock. You've only played the first mission in GTA IV. And it looks like you haven't completed one level of Bad Company. I'm not even a lemming, I'm a hermit mostly -- I'm not defensive at all, I'm merely getting the facts straight. Clear as day people. I agree that the Xbox 360 has its fair share of faults, for one... my Xbox 360 sounds like a jet engine. I absolutely loved that when I owned a PS3, the console was so quiet. Hell, my gaming PC with a stock CPU fan, and FOUR case fans still ain't louder than my Xbox 360. Then again, the Cosmos 1000 case is just amazing so it does dampen the sound.

It mostly has to do with the DVD-ROM drives they put in the older 360's. The newer drives are almost as quiet as the Wii is. In fact, with the new drives, you hear the case fans more than the drive spinning, and the case fans are very quiet. Unless like you said, your machine is inside a cabinet with little airflow, then the fans speed up and it does get a bit louder, but nothing like those old DVD-ROM drives.

I liked Wii a lot more but I'm excited for the games coming up even though I don't have it. I'm probably going to kill myself when Zelda Wii comes out but by then hopefully I'll have the money to buy whatever I want.To tell you the truth I'm confused on what I should do. But ifI knew what I know now I would have just kept the Wii....ahh so uncomplicated... I could buy ACWW the conduit, Wii Sports resort. But I'm screwed over. I've been with Wii too long to leave it I guess.

Whether WiiSpeak is with friend codes may depend on the developer/publisher. High Voltage (The Conduit) said they're trying to get around FCs for online, and they've already said they're likely doing WiiSpeak.

So basically, you still have your Wii but owe a guy money? Is there something else you can sell instead? How about your 360 games (the ones you didn't rent) or some non-game things? Are you old enough to take a job or tutor? You'd be surprised how cheap you can buy games locally (i.e. kijiji.) This weekend, even Toys R Us is having a half-off sale on some Wii games, including Metroid Prime Corruption. Other games, like Zack & Wiki, No More Heroes, and BlastWorks have seriously dropped in price since launch.

Anyways. if you dislike the 360 so much and enjoy the Wii then bring the 360 back to where you bought it and get your money back. Repay your friend the money you owe him and with the rest reby the games you enjoyed on the Wii at a second hand store.

I'll humor you and assume you do have a 360. Your first mistake is playing in some crappy SDTV. Your second mistake is popping in Bioshock or Halo 3 and expecting it to be Mario Galaxy or Metroid Prime. This is a big boy's console and it doesn't nerf everything down into friendly cartoon charaters who all happen to be a bunch of mutes. Mario doesn't live on the Xbox, and I'm truly sorry that you miss him so.

Your third mistake is not having any tolerance or patience to acclimate yourself to a completely different gaming experience. You aren't swinging a VCR remote, or shaking it up and down to hit a low-resolution, poor approximation of a tennis ball from the bottom of the screen to the top.

Your fourth mistake is that even if you had any legitimate arguments, you come off so much as a fanboy, you cannot expect anyone who does indeed own both machines simultaneously (like myself) to take you seriously.

TC, I won't give away your GT because I'm such a nice person. You've played five games on the xbox 360. Geometry Wars, Halo 3, Bioshock, GTA IV, and Bad Company. You've only completed the introduction level of Bioshock. You've only played the first mission in GTA IV. And it looks like you haven't completed one level of Bad Company.
