InFamous is greatly overlooked in system wars!

Just beat it and wow, talk about one of the most mind blowing endings I have ever seen in a video game. I mean, the gameplay was awesome, but the story was the true star of the show. Why is it never brought up here when arguing over console exclusives? It's always Uncharted 2 this, Killzone 2 that, Heavy Rain this. InFamous is the exclusive cows should truely be proud of. Well that, and yes, Uncharted 2.

Well I know it got great scores. I'm just saying that it seems to be greatly overlooked in system wars. I haven't seen it get brought up in an argument for months.

the game is overarted by GS and underrated by posters, the game isvery fun, games dun get hyped for being fun, it's either gfx, multiplayer, sales and fun comes last.

Seriously Infamous was very overrated yes it was very good but AAA material no.

InFamous get old very very fast, beat it once and never touch it more.

I Platted the game a couple months ago. Already I want to go back and play it through again on another account. You know, start over fresh. All I know is it definitely says something if you lend somebody a game you already beat and start itching to play it again when you have other games to play. inFamous is my favorite sandbox game to date.

i thought it was awesome too....really didnt see that final twist coming lol. full evil powers also looked fantastic

The game is underrated and greatly overlooked. It's awesome. Great fun, brilliant story.

Yeah, enough really can't be said about the story. It's definitly in the same league as Bioshock's. The story it's self is very underrated.

[spoiler] When the main bad guy strung up your girlfriend from a building, and a bunch of doctors from another building, and then made you pick between who had to live and who had to die (selfishly save one person, or save a bunch of doctors who will in turn save many other lives). Wow. There are few gaming moments that top that. Then it took it even farther. I decided to save Cole's girlfriend, and it turned out to not be her. Then you find out she is one of the "doctors" strung up from the other building and you watch her die. [/spoiler] Just jaw dropping...

Lembots be hating but inFamous was an AMAZING game, I had a blast playing through it, I'd love a sequel.

I though the game was boring, all of the sony exclusives except uncharted 1, are very overrated imo. The only syatem I have ever been more disappointed in was the game cube. Ps3 is very overrated IMO. I got mine when they were still 600.

The most overlooked feature of the game is the AI. Some of the smartest enemies I've encountered in a non-shooter. They take cover, flank, and even retreat when necessary.

Loved this game. A 9 is the deserving score.

Yes. It also needed better characters and a better story. The game itself was fun, but there aren't too many games that I've played where I hated almost everybody in the game.

The people in the city/ Moral system:LAME. People collapsing at my feet every 5 minutes in need of a jumpstart. How pathetic are these people? I know a huge disaster just happened, but from what I understand it wasn't a pandemic, it was an explosion. Why are people randomly dropping dead all around me?

Time travel: Really?

The enemies: Worst character designs ever. Except for some of the minibosses.

I liked Sasha though. I dig nutty chicks....Hmmmmm sometimes.

All of this may sound like I hated the game. Not so. I thought it was a good attempt. But it certainly isn't as good as some people are making it out to be.

Its very annoying when they can hit you but you can't hit them because your electricity doesn't extend far enough. :( Oh how you just poke your head out from a hiding place and you are ready to sneak attack them and, even if their back is turned, somehow they saw you and they fire at your, not missing.

Fun game though. I just started replaying it on Hard.

Because Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 have visuals and Heavy Rain came out recently. inFAMOUS came out may of last year. SW moves onto the next flavor of the month. Great game though, I enjoyed it enough to play through it twice. jg4xchamp

I agree. It was one of my favorite games of 2009. And to all the people who say that it doesn't deserve AAA status, let me ask, why? Because it has no multiplayer, no photorealistic graphics, seriously, why? The gameplay is rock solid and it's a blast to play, and the story is outstanding with a mindblowing ending, truly underated indeed.

i seen this game at gamestop holy **** the graphics were horrible.

It was a good game but it needed a lot of work. Comic book style cutscenes were great but when it was actual 3D dialogue the character models (how they moved or talked) were crap. Upgrading my powers didn't make much difference and it lacked powers that stood out (lighting bolt thing was awesome though). There was barely any enemy variety, only 3 bosses and the story wasn't that great. It didn't make much difference as to what you decided to do and the only point that hyped me up was when [spoiler] you had to pick between Trish or the doctors [/spoiler] and still little changed in the story. Hopefully they'll improve all these things on the next one. 1st one is still a good AAE game in my opinion.

Overrated though i think. The powers were so boring, an unimaginative. mostof them were similar to guns, it was like playing Mercs 1.

I wouldn't mind seeing the devs have a go at making a Spawn game though

It is vastly overrated by gamespot standards, depthless characters and a very unlikable protaganist really doesn't help things either.

The gameplay gets old after the first new couple powers, and it really isn't fun jumping around poles. The only decently humorous thing to do in the game was go around shocking pedestrians and causing havoc, which still got old in a few minutes.

ur comment on the powers spoiler aheadthe shockwave, percision, granades and the most awesome power in any game yet,the lighting storm ..... they were all very cool ..... they may become boring after playing 60-80 hr or so like any other game.

I think it's a great game, but it certainly lacks a level of polish. Not only is the aliasing absurd, but it features some of the worst NPC civilian A.I. I've experienced in a sandbox game.
