So, now we're claiming ownage over something that wasn't even exclusive...? Either way, Ps3 wins here for being able to play both games.

Not too shabby of a score, looks like I'm the winner i get to play both, the biggest dilema now is what system to chose prototype on, decisions decisions :question:

Let me put this question out there. Is it possible these two games could both be a blast in very different ways? I see Infamous as a gritty story driven game about the weight and gravity of having superpowers during very dark times. Prototype on the other hand looks like a balls out action/horror/gore soaked/superhero/chaotic sandbox game. I dare say Prototype could be more fun while Infamous is more cerebral. The only people who actually lose here are those that can only play one I believe.

Fallacy, it still means that 360 owners can get a similar sandbox game just it being better.

there really isn't much similar about the games besides the fact that they are sandbox

They have their similarites in a few ways.

Also, because edge didn't like it, they suddenly don't matter, you can't expect everyone to share your opinon.

This is by far the dumbest topic SW has ever seen. Play it for yourslef. Its sad to see people proclaim a game sucks after seeing one review. The lowest of 5 so far. Its very sad. I picked Prototype up today and although the first two missions are bland(tutorial), the game picks up when you can start upgrading. Running around takes a lot of getting used to but after doing a few race events im almost a pro at it. The graphics are so-so. Lots of people, cars, and great animations but at the same time the textures arnt that great and the cutscenes(besides the first) arnt that amazing. Its very, very fun. By the way, I dont even have any powers yet and im having a blast. Definatly pick it up and see for yourself. You wont regret it.

Although this thread is rather dumb, I really can't say I'm surprised that Infamous reviewed better than Prototype. I'm not all that interested in either, but Infamous looks like the more polished title by far.

Can we stop making these threads? Prototype is just as good as InFAMOUS. The controls are fine, and graphics don't matter to me becuase this game is about the gameplay, and that's where it delivers. I just wish people would stop comparing this to InFAMOUS and talking about the IGN review. There's more than one review, and this is a different game than InFAMOUS, just because their both open world doesn't mean they should be compared. Plus Prototype isn't 360 exclusive, so why bother compare?

Alot of hype for the ps3 version, with actually baffles me because the producer claims it was similar in all aspect except graphics.

Yaaay Infamous is the winner, I'm so proud of that game. < I hope no one really feels that way here.

i think infamous will pull HUGE sales numbers. everyone that has a ps3 has that game it seems. and not that many people are that excited for prototype besides a few.

Red Faction Guerilla > inFamous and Prototype.
