They seem very harsh on RPGS, though. Blue Dragon was a perfectly enjoyable game, for example. It wasnt up there with Final Fantasy, but it was a solid 7-8.0 game. They slapped it with a six here, though, and complained about annoying kids as the main characters throughout the whole review.

None of that is really bad. Besides, they translated 1ups's B into a 75 %. I think of Bs as more of an 80%. Rebardless, Bs are good.

And they translated Gamepro's 3/5 into a 60 %. Gamepro's 3's pretty much cover any game in the 60-70% range.

The reviews arent bad.

Still, from what I've seen all three are pretty amazing.

Who said they are official, i'm just posting the current score they have.

The percentage mostly goes down with more reviews getting listed. Anyways, 70-85 % are good scores for a JRPG.

Valkyria Chronicles is an SRPG. It's a lot different than your normal JRPG's.

I believe WKS didn't get a spectacular preview at 1up. Anyways all previews for WKS should be taken lightly because they are 1 year old. Lets wait for more recent previews.

From what I've read, if I had to pick between Tales of Vesperia and Infinite Undiscovery I would go Tales of Vesperia without hesitation.

I'm playing through Tales of Vesperia right now and it is a great game. I am really enjoying it. It's very deep as far as crafting, combat, and story. The graphics are outstanding, it's a very beautiful game, a lot like Eternal Sonata. The combat is entertaining to the point that I find myself "grinding" on mobs probably a lot more then I need to.

I am still getting Infinite Undiscovery next week because I really enjoy good rpg's, and Infinite Undiscovery is no doubt a solid title.

With all these great games coming out it's a great time to be a gamer. I'm also picking up Viva Pinata 2 next week... man it's going to be a busy week lol.

While I'll agree that your comment in general applies (and don't get me wrong, ToV is awesome) but Disgaea games are just so entertaining and long that I think I've clocked in 100+ hours each on the first two installments, and currently playing through the third (and it is awesome as always, nicely done NIS)

IU is above 70% on gamerankings. How is that bad? It's an A title. TOV however is an AA title. I think 'm personally going to get IU first. These cartoonish type JRPG's such as TOV just don't do it for me anymore.BumFluff122

Gamepro has always been a crappy mag. I think they relaunched with a different ****but in the old days their review system was like Doom faces of people smiling and screaming and crying. They had a bunch of 80s comic ****characters as reviewers... it was just an all around lame magazine. Especially compared to the equally priced EGM.
