Does being popular make it the best?

The title is an obvious way to rile people up, but for whoever makes the better CoD, I'd say its Treyarch. Infinity Ward isn't the same Infinity Ward that made the amazing early Call of Duty titles, and Treyarch could be said to have highly evolved and focused themselves since the early days of their own CoD games. The new IW isn't willing to take any risks, MW3 was a disappointment that felt like a step back when Black Ops changed more and felt more ambitious, while Black Ops 2 looks like a fun new take on the franchise that is looking to change certain aspects and reinvigorate the series. IW was the company that soured the name of the franchise when MW2 had so many issues and when half the team left.

I'll say that I think IW's games were always more polished and well put together, but Treyarch has ambition and a willingness to change, so even if their games run less smoothly and look worse, they offer more and have more ideas.

As I glanced over your post (not actually reading it because I know it would lower my IQ if I did) I happened to read this post.

First, not on consoles? Who cares. That doesn't mean the game doesn't exist. Everybody also knows that with HL2 came CSS (launched in the same package) and the entire Source Engine for pretty much endless amounts of content.

Next, you believe that non stop action makes a good game? I'm going to go ahead and burst your little bubble of ignorance and say that not all gamers like shallow, linear shooters. You're making some pretty big ass assumptions and arguing along those lines yet are calling other people trolls.

How did I fail? TF does everything KZ does but poorly. You have the Sniper class like KZ, but it sucks unlike KZ. You have the Spy class like the Infilitraitor in KZ, but once again it sucks unlike KZ. If they wanted to copy KZ they should have made the graphics better for TF. It looks like a last gen game, reminds me of Wind Waker. Which btw is also better than TF.

Also, I'm just going to assume that you're bad at COD and KZ. See how your logic works? It is broken once again.

And on top of this the games are too highly priced, they should be cheaper than console versions sine they are downloads. Steam only has good sales.

IW and Trey Arch have done far more for the FPS genre today than Valve. This is why they are the FPS kings and Valve is not.

Battlefield 2, Planetside both had EXP systems.

Perk system was in Fallout 1 and 2. It was not hard to take that system and say "hey, it was fun there, let's use it here" and then put it in their game. If you want to streatch it, CoD 4 was the first game to use their specific perk system in an FPS but the idea of bonuses were introduced way back with Tribes and the custom loadouts there. Your armors and stuff gave you certain abilities, much like perks. It was just an evolution of a system that was there.

Speaking of Tribes, they had 100% custom loadouts too.

Planetside had 100% free form classes with a 100% customizable loadout system. You didn't just pick your weapons and equipment, you actually stored them in an RPG style inventory system. You unlocked new ranks which unlocked certs and let you unlock new weapons and equipment for different playstyles.

BF you just walk around forever. I don't recall it having an XP system until Bad Company, which was only so-so of a game. And I played all BF games, even BF3, and I played them on PC mostly. I know what I am talking about.

I did not feel like buying MW3. I do not like games with short campaigns so did not see it being worth full price. I will get it when it get's lower. However Black Ops 2 is day 1 for me, I have it pre ordered and everything.

And it does not reward you for failure, it tries to give noobs a way to win. It's like Mario Kart, the people in last place get the best items to help them and give them a chance.

You just suck at COD, this is why you hate it. It is takes too much skill for you. So you have to stick to slow and boring games like BF where you just walk around forever and shoot 5 people at the most because you are not good enough to play COD. What you do is make sure you have rapid fire and then sit in a few areas I will show you, then when people come buy you shoot them. This is a great and complex strategy but it works. This is how I win. For Kill Streaks I recommend using something easier like Supply Crates or something.

Also CoD takes very little skill to play, to play it with the best is a different story but comparing BF to CoD at which is the easier to pick up and get a lot of kills it's CoD.

BTW I just asked a bunch of my friends this same question and they all agree with me. You and most of SW are the minoirty, most people in real life think COD is better. IGN also agrees.

I had way more fun with Golden Eye Reloaded then I ever did with BF or TF or any of those other games. But I had more fun with COD than I did Golden Eye Reloaded. What does that tell you? That COD is clearly the better game.

What you do is make sure you have rapid fire and then sit in a few areas I will show you, then when people come buy you shoot them. This is a great and complex strategy but it works. This is how I win. For Kill Streaks I recommend using something easier like Supply Crates or something.

I had way more fun with Golden Eye Reloaded then I ever did with BF or TF or any of those other games. But I had more fun with COD than I did Golden Eye Reloaded. What does that tell you? That COD is clearly the better game.

Giving people points for dying is rewarding bad gameplay, no other way to say it.

Also CoD takes very little skill to play, to play it with the best is a different story but comparing BF to CoD at which is the easier to pick up and get a lot of kills it's CoD.

You're the one who talked about BF3 sucking before and when you explained it was just you being an idiot in the game not knowing what to do. That and you didn't know you had to hold the knife button to kill someone and thought it was a glitch. Also you complained that the guns had bullet spread and that they didn't fire in straight lines. I have played BF, you just walk around bored out of your mind. I call it Walking Field because that is all you do. Everyone at start steals vehicles and just hogs them, and it takes FOREVER to get to the objective, when you do the match is over.

And the game is very buggy like I showed you. You shoot at people and only the first bullet will hit, the others just fly around all over the place. And the kinfe, you pull it out but it does nothing, it just get's stuck no matter how much you click it.

This does not happen in COD, BF should be more like it. The kife should be auto. BTW did you know that in Black Ops 2 you will be able to use TWO knives!? It's going to be amazing!

You will be missing out on this fun though unfortunately because you are too egotistical with pretending to be "hardcore" and playing boring games.

I did not feel like buying MW3. I do not like games with short campaigns so did not see it being worth full price. I will get it when it get's lower. However Black Ops 2 is day 1 for me, I have it pre ordered and everything.

And it does not reward you for failure, it tries to give noobs a way to win. It's like Mario Kart, the people in last place get the best items to help them and give them a chance.

For classic that is hard to say, there are too many. And if I count foreign films because there are some really amazing ones.

Fight Club is a great film though. I love that one a lot. I write screen plays for fun, it is a hobby of mine. I have done some films for 48 hour film festival but I do not want to share them because you guys lack artistic integrity.

They make solid MP, but the game play is bad. You can't even aim down sights in Halo, lol this is not 1998, so outdated. COD is the future. There is a reason it is number 1, Halo was only good last gen.

The campaigns for Halo were terrible this gen. I gave Halo 3 a 7 in my in depth expert reivew because of this. Only good thing about the games are lot's of features, but more quantity does not equal quality. Halo proves this time and time again.

If you like Halo more than COD then that is cool, but COD is clearly the superior game.
