And either way, it doesnt matter, as the PC has far more exclusives than consoles.

But 64 players in GTA4 multiplayer would be a 5 second per life fragfest with no time to get a weapon outside of a pistol...You should wait to brag about how a game will play until you've played it.

And GTA4 surpassed them both combined your point?[QUOTE="trasherhead"]i've got one for you guys, name a few of these GREAT pc games that has superior gameplay then console games because if has more polygones and more shader opperations.jangojay
Company of heroes?
Geow gamplay>COH gameplay:P (I have know Idea how I can compare the two but I did) and it has less polygons!!
What I really wanted to say: Trasher, polygons and shaders are not the only thing to do with graphics and Tech. They don't affect game play (except for making things clearer which is nice for multiplayer*with shooters in mind*) but they do truely effect it in big leaps(ps1 vs ps3 etc..).
Physics and preformence have the biggest effect on gamplay and it can be huge. Crysis and HL2 are examples of physics and thier effects.

i love how they generalize that every person who plays games is able to and willing to shell out the cash to keep a hardcore high end pc going. especially when the consoles are still delivering awesome experiencespaullywog
Yes, awsome experiences seen years ago on PC

The only people who believe that are some of you "hermits" on System Wars. I still play my SNES and Sega till' this day, many of the games with friends As a matter of fact,I finished playing about a hour worth of some PS1 games with my brother.(Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom..I have my eye on you.)[QUOTE="lowe0"][QUOTE="Painballz"]Halo 3 surpassed 2.8 million copies.Crysis surpassed 2 million copies, and Witcher surpassed 1 million

130,000 players online for a game that sold 7 million copies is really low, and PC players play more than just COD 4 and Halo 3. We have a vast library of games to play online, where as consoles when ever a new game comes them abandon it, when Gears 2 comes out expect Halo 3's online numbers to drop by more than half

Actually 130,000 online at the same time is a lot especially when so many are playing GTA 4. The vast majority of PC gamers are playing WoW and CS 1.6 while so many other games are neglected. It's like CS 1.6 was the last good game or something because no other game has so many players online all the time.

You have got to be the biggest PC fanboy ever, and the statement about abandoning games it completely false. 50,000 people still play halo 2, I just went and played GRAW 1 a couple of minutes ago had no problem finding a game, I also just played fifa 07 which is nearly two years old and found tons of people still playing it.[QUOTE="Painballz"][QUOTE="lowe0"][QUOTE="Painballz"]Halo 3 surpassed 2.8 million copies.Crysis surpassed 2 million copies, and Witcher surpassed 1 million

I agree. With consoles, as soon as Hot Game #2 comes out, everybody stops playing Hot Game #1 to switch to #2. With PC games, people can play old games online for ages. Diablo 2 came out in 2000, yet there are heaps of people playing it today. I still play this game (online and offline) nowdays as well! :D

Wait, technology that has the ability to frequently update is better than technology that doesn't have the ability to upgrade at will? :o NO WAIIIII!!!!!

the main point is that innovation are waht consles are here for.

Maybe thats because its existed for like 20+ years. Most of the AAA's are really old and have been outdone now
Exactly, PC is past its prime now, its AAA list has dropped since the 90s, more and more devs are more focusing on console development now, most recently, Crytek.
I swear those people who kept making this type of thread are serious in denial and damage control.
Wow, what a compelling argument. I'm going to sell my 360, Wii, all of my handhelds, and all of my games and use that money to buy a graphics card which will surely be outdated within a year, forcing me to buy a new one. :|
But seriously, how about you try telling something we don't already know. Power=/=Fun. The Wii proved that a long time ago.

Even if GTA4 or Halo 3 comes out for the PC eventualy Hermits can only watch as we play them months in advance. That's the real power of consoles: games now and not later.
