It's not perfect. Neither was MGS4. Every game Gamespot gave a perfect 10 to was far from perfect. The only perfect game I think I've ever played was Tetris and maybe Chess.

Those games are reviewed on the Fisher Price scale. Do you honestly think you are clever? I've seen three years old that can come up with something better than that.
Nah. For what it was, I would call Doom perfect, and maybe Super Mario Bros. 3. Someone's probably already done the perfect racing game as well. Besides, while GTA IV is almost perfect, it has one major flaw... it bothers the player to do something they don't necessarily want to do. You can ignore the mandates, but it's still a strike against an otherwise fantastic game.

The latest patch fixed all frame rates issues :|
1. I said 'It plays like crap', not 'the performance is crap'. Cars handle like the Titanic, gunplay/movement are the most clumsy cap I've ever experienced. 2. (since we're going to performance) I've not gotten it above 30fps, no matter what settings I've used, on an i7920 + 5850 + 6gb RAM. I've not played with it in a while, but it was 1.7.?.? last I tried.
