Is Halo 3 Overrated? Simple Poll

Just got done playing about three hours worth of matchmaking after playing two hours of firefight. Halo 3 is my favorite and most played game of this console generation.

i enjoyed SP so much.. but the story is kinda weak though.. so i dont know. :P

Theres nothing revolutionary or awesome in Halo series after Halo Combat Evolved i.e. Halo 1. Its been the same thing over and over again with a couple of added elements.

It does not even come close to doing something revolutionary. It only has a massive fanbase, including not only some ignorant xbox fanboys but also many major sites. Maybe because Halo CE was actually good and the best considering there was absolutely nothing on the Xbox.

So yea it is over rated. If you play the series you`ill realize that its just plain proceeding good fun. Nothing even close to what other games like Crysis,Killzone 2,Uncharted,Stalker,GeOW and even Resistance 2 have to offer.

nvm: you said single-player games only and not just fps. but its mostly popular because of its online anyways

No, and it got its score back in 2007. Now it would score a 8.5-9.0 now, but don't think its overrated just because its not new.

Flood, so yes. Why did they ever think fighting Flood was fun? It's not! The second last level is one of the worst levels in any FPS ever.

Yes and no. Yes, I believe it's overall quality is not as high as it should be. But, it's definitely not overrated in comparison to othergames with similar scores.

Hell, I'm pissed and not surprised that 'no' is the most common answer too far. Too much PS fanboys and you know it.

I think its slightly overrated. Its not the "Ow snap" kind of game... Its just "Wow its nice" kind of game. 8.5-9 is what it deserves.

Its certainly nowhere near Halo 2 quality. And Halo 2 was nowhere near HaloCE. It was just a downward spiral since HaloCE. I mean most games had slight improvments but realy its getting milked to me. HaloCE to Halo 2 was probably the biggest jump with the inclusion of Xnox Live multiplayer.

its about a 8.5-9 IMO. I just didnt like the level before the last one with the flood. That was awful. And I liked the ending, I like games/movies that make you think 'hm what happens next?' in the end but never gets answered. I like when things are left open for discussion.

Agree with this. Anyone who says Halo is flat out bad is out of their minds imo, but it's definitely not a 9.5/AAAA caliber game.

its not overrated. its just Wii and PS3 owners were jealous at the time we have such an awesome shooter. But now 360 owners want Uncharted 2. I wont call Uncharted 2 overrated, because its good. Wish more people had common sense

what other console fps has 4 person co-op, online spit screen, level creator and all the crazy custom games halo has?and its ranking system is really deep what other game does your rank go up or down depending on how you do? and you can rank up in all the different playlists

oh yea and the bungieweekly updates is another thing(double xpweekand 7 on the 7th)

How does it lack replay-ability? Theres all the terminals, collecting skulls, playing on harder difficulties and with more skulls on. ThAts more replay-ability then a lot of games.

It isn't, but cows sheep and hermits will all say it is, so this isn't really a fair poll honestly.

Great singleplayer with a couple storyline goofs, and amazing multiplayer. 9.5 sounds right to me.
