My friends, is it arrogant to think of the proper "place" for western RPG's? That, in order to be great, they should be primarily built or purely built with pc in mind?

If you're a fan of RPGs you should have a PC first and foremost.

For past titles sure. Between old school PC RPGs on GOG and emulators for SNES/PS1 classics you can't go wrong. Most modern day RPGs are pretty hit or miss /shrug

Lots of games have elaborate control schemes, and are better suited for keyboards... that's not arrogant, that's just the reality of complex games.
