Just picked up a PS3 and GTP and I can't beleive the graphics, they're fantastic. However the gameplay even with all assists off and professional physics is much more forgiving than what i'm used to in FOrza 2, it's more like Project Gotham tbh.
Is it just this way in Prologue or is this how all GrandTurismo's have been?

I didn't mean graphics because as I said in my first post the visuals in GT5P are much better than in Forza 2. What I meant is physics model, drifting in GT5P is like drifting in Ridge Racer, it's very easy and unrealistic. When you hit a wall not only is there no damage but the car does not react to torque from hitting one side of the car or the other, it's like the hit detection is a huge sphere with no friction and no matter where you hit it just bounces off. You can also accelerate through corners where traction would surely be an issue.
Even compared to PGR4 it may be a bit more realistic in some ways (a bit slower), but in most others even PGR4 is more 1:1 (action reaction) than GT5P. Really disapointing for me, it's not so much that the physics are unrealisitc, it's that they are bad (not 1:1), and it takes me out of the experience constantly.
