Be honest. 360 only survived because they dominated NA and had strong legs in Europe. Now the Bone is losing NA and are absolutely being decimated in Europe; forget about Japan and everywhere else. The question of Xbox existence is a legitimate concern for the near future.

Not really. The number is higher because the market expanded but the Xbox brand is niche now in comparison to 360 of last gen.

I don't care about what the 360 did, I don't have that console anymore. I just care about the X1 and PS4, fanboys like to relive the past and try to recreate and rearrange facts and history. No matter how you view it, it's still one of the most successful consoles in history, deal with it already and move on.

And Xbone is in a less favorable predicament. It's something to think about.

Nothing to think about, X1 is giving me the games I want to play and I'm enjoying it. That's why I bought the console, neither you nor I get a dime from any of these consoles being sold so why do you care so much about console sales? I want the games, that's all and I don't give a damn who sold what to whom, now that's something for you to think about.

For support. Games like Yakuza, Steins;Gate and ZE3 wouldn't exist if the console didn't do well financially and it also matter by regions. Hell, they aren't on Wii U and Xbox for that reason.

In all honesty, this back and forth console war doesn't really matter to me since I have access to them all. If more people, lems even, are reasonable as you then I wouldn't act like that much of an ass. Most aren't though.

Games are revenue. Xbone missed out on so many titles because of the isolated taste of Xbox gamers. If you are getting what you want then fine but most people want genres outside of shooter. The best solution to that is to get a PS4 or PC but that isn't an option opened to everyone.

@BigShotSmoov007: Genres that aren't shooters usually doesn't do well on Xbox. There are some exceptions like AAA wrpgs and sports but that's really it. Originally I was an Xbox guy but the narrow selection drove me to PS mid last gen. You can't really even compare the amount of variety on PS versus Xbox and that's a fact. Shooting is the most popular genre currently so of course it does best on both but outside that many beyond shooting does well on PS while the same can't be said on Xbone. The amount of exclusive third party support proves that.

Who's comparing? Only person comparing is you. I said there is a good variety of games on the X1. Shooting is the most popular genre on both consoles, what's the highest selling game on the Playstation, I would guess it's Call of Duty or Fallout and those are a form of shooter. Like I stated, X1 is giving me the games I want to play and I'm sure other X1 owners and fans are happy with that also. I don't care about sales of consoles just as long as they give me the games I want, fanboys play up numbers more than games and sit in here and argue nonsense all day long.

I was about to buy a PS4 with UC4 ... now , its a nono. Ill wait for this PS4.5 to see whats all about but if it feels like a lesser value than what it actually will cost , ill never buy a PS4 this generation. Screw this :)

I'm not sure why this stuff keeps coming up, does nobody research this stuff before buying anymore? If you have a PC you don't need an Xbox One. If you don't have a gaming PC and want a console the PS4 is a better console with more exclusives. The Xbox One has its own console exclusives, nobody can tell you whether you'll like Halo, Gears and Forza more than Uncharted, Until Dawn, Persona etc. I love JRPG's so it's PS4 all the way for me. You might hate them. Basically do your research and go for the one with the games you like.

I think, for a lot of people, the greatest thing the consoles offer is the ability to argue over them on the internet.

I own both PS4 and Xbox One and a good PC too. I think I'll just say they're all shit to get maximum trolling fun out of the internet.
