is mgs4 a wannabe stealth game?

i just watched the new gameplay vids and all i see is crap a.i.

the guy is grabed by snake and his partner is 2 feet infront of him and doesnt bother turning around even though the guy is moaning like a pornstar.

then you got snake laying on the ground in his camo creating a big lump on the ground with a mullet.

also how the hell is he pulling barrels out of his pocket.

cutscenes and story looks good though but when it comes to stealth thief and sc has it beat

MGS is MGS. It is partially a stealth game with its own distinct style of gameplay. It isn't a 100% stealth game the Western gamer is accustomed to. Have you ever seen a black dog with a little white on it on top of a black blanket and just didnt notice it because it blended in. Even though it's a huge bump when ur not trying to pay attention to it you wont notice it. Plus they've shown views from far away of snake using octo cam and most of the time he really does blend in and you cant notice him.

Stealth isn't even the main point of MGS... you can play the game rambo-style or sneakeh-style.

In Splinter Cell you're forced to do stealth. In SC, if you're caught, you're kinda dead.

MGS = more variety. :)

Splinter Cell is a bad combination of MGS with Siphon Filter.

MGS = A+ Game with a consistent story and actually brings about "interesting" and sometimes truthful facts about the history of war

Splinter Cell = A+ ****

When starting a new game mark "Game over if discovered".
