Is PC the worst system for RPGs and shooters ?

You do realise the vast majority gamers have access to broadband? Online if the future of gaming, you shall have to move with the times and upgrade from 56k i think,.

It is simple, PC misses ALL JRPGs consoles get, ALL console exlcusive RPGs like Fable 2 and on top all its best RPGs like Witcher 2 are on xbox 360

I'm not saying a controller replicated accurately what it is to hold a gun. The article just stated it was more close then m/kb wich isnt hard to believe if you have any brain cell. The rumble, the weight and the triggers are huge factors. a mouse and kb have NOTHING in common with a gun. A controller, even if still FAR from holding a gun still has these three factors that makes it closer to the experience then m/kb

again, I'm not saying a controller replicates accurately what it is to hold a gun ONLY that its closer then a m/kb at least

this exactly...i mean lets face it...i dont think there is a single fps game out there that even has 100% correct gun models and animations for working them...how does that even replicate using a gun...there are only a handful of games that even show that youve emptied a mag on the last round...not to mention how much your trigger finger affects your accuracy or whether youll jerk and pull the gun cause youre not used to the recoil...and dont get me started on why game developers ever thought it was a good idea to put a laser sight on a sniper rifle...seems to be a complete waste when the best thing about sniping is the element of surprise...and you hardly ever have the bullseye of your scope on your target because of wind and bullet drop...the controller is almost as bad as the mouse/kb for replicating shooting a real gun...but ill tell u waht...i play fps games on pc cause its easier that way

Soooo... you don't own a Computer?

Everyone uses a PC whether they're a gamer or not. The average PC (Desktop), costs about $500. It will handle all a person needs for business, social, whatever.

Now if you're a gamer like me, why not take that $300-$400 you would spend on a brand new console (upon launch) and invest in a better PC (That's a pretty decent machine for $800-$900). And unlike consoles, your parts wont be obsolete in a few years when you want to upgrade. Sell them and buy new ones.

Shooters should always be played on consoles. Same with RPGs. There's a reason why all the great RPGs existed on console. Richytheman

Well, if you want to play at 60fps or just love using kb+mouse, and want better graphics, then you can also choose to play them on the PC. You can also use a controller for PC games, as I said. What's the advantage of playing those games on consoles? I don't get it.
