As an old time PS fan, yeah, Sony has been very naughty lately. I really wasnt liking the way Sony was going. Their arrogance and anti-consumer strategies made me remember the "599 US dollars" PS3 era Sony.

However, now that Jim Ryan will be stepping down, I'm hopping we'll get the late PS3/early PS4 days Sony again...

2 - My "crusade" against Game Pass is based on it being bad for the industry. It's a numbers game just like it is in movie/music streaming. We are going to lose content overall. We have Lems praising Capcom gaining license revenue while multiple developers are telling you they've seen no royalties. The payout structure has been exposed and it favors the AAA devs. And it gives the publishers all of the leverage with revenue/payouts. You're gonna see first hand with the Starfield vs Mario vs Spider-Man NPD results. There's gonna be no more guesswork required. The Xbox model is bad for business. And it doesn't need to be this way. Xbox has the deepest pockets. They didn't need to play the "value" card. They are trying to disrupt the market because they have failed at everything else

Tbh, I'm done with Sony. So they're downhill for me tbh. Though I don't think they'll ever truly flop, as far as home consoles go. The PS3 alone proves that. Though the Vita shows that they should leave the handheld market alone.

1) Well I wasn't here when the bet went down and know nothing about it other than you lost, so I can't comment on it.

2) Look I think GP is terrible for Xbox, and a lot of people can't see it, however i'm not betting people, arguing, going after an entire fanbase over it. That's ridiculous.

As for the devs not getting money and the pubs taking it, then that's between those 2 to sort out. But we also don't know what conditions a dev & a pub sign on the contract in regard to the terms of revenue etc.

And not sure what you mean by losing content, MS needs content that's why they have been buying up big, not sure how that lessens content.

I am sure PlayStation will continue for a long time on brand value alone if nothing else. Personally I think the PS4 era was so much better than the PS5 era with titles such as Until Dawn, Uncharted 4, Days Gone and Persona 5. Besides suffering from being butt ugly, the PS5 needs something to catch my interest. For now, I am 100% xbox.

I think the PS5 is far better and more entertaining than the XB, however, during the past few years +, Sony have made awful choices, specially with the slim and the price increase which currently has nothing to offer. However, the games still continue to be amazing.

Well, at least my fellow cows are not too delusional and see sony for what they are. Not only are they going downhill, they're flying downhill with a jetpack strapped on their back. And the worst part of it all, my main worry is that they haven't even began developing singelplayer games they're known for, and instead, all studios are working or planning to release some kind of a dogshit Destiny wannabe aka a live service shitfest. Imagine for a second if this is the case. Holy shit. This would be such a massive cows migration to pc gaming that hermits aren't ready to receive us.

Yeah if they don't create any video games they are. That's the whole purpose of the console.
