well, the hype was astounding and as a wii owner, i must say i am very disappointed. i thought the interaction was real but now it seems fabricated and unresponsive..i mean, u swing the remote and it's duplicated onscreen..but that's it. there is no other interaction like let's say the speed the ball is traveling(there is no difference between a gentle wrist movement and flat out powerful hit in a tennis game of wii sports) nintendo gave the impression to the public that whatever u did in reallife could be done in the game. also, the graphics are not as good as they could be. couldn't nintendo had sacrificed profits and made the wii a bit more powerful? with all that said, i am still a nintendo fan and love their products. actually everything you said can be done on Wii. Wii sports was a tech demo and a launch game. Real 1:1 movement can be done on Wii. It's all a matter of time and when developers can get the controls to work properly.
