Actually, the Wii has one of the best libraries this gen.
Online is not the best, I'll give you that, and the graphics aren't the best, either. But, they can still look pretty freakin amazing. Look at either Super Mario Galaxy. And, unlike many Xbox and PS3 games, the Galaxies have virtually no glitches. (I have never encountered slowdown or glitches with my copies.) Other good examples include Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Silent Hill Shattered Memories. (Which, incidentally, had better character models and animation than Homeomcing on 360.)
And third party support is not the system's fault. Many developers see the Wii as a no effort easy cash in system, and the result is a great amount of shovelware. That's not to say that there isn't any great third party games, however, because there are.
Ultimatley, Wii is about the games first, and everything else second, which is the way it should be.

So why does the 360 have more high rated games?Actually, the Wii has one of the best libraries this gen. Matter of Opinion really

Aside from that, Nintendo is actually at fault for all the crappy games on there system. They have total control on what they allow to be played on it and everything, I mean EVERYTHING passes their eyes and gets a stamp of aproval before any discs even get stamped for the system, letting Nintendo off the hook for the shovelware is not an option. Such as Sony last generation, Nintendo is letting it slide for more money.
The Wii is about games first? sure...but games for who? Aside from the handfull of games most of us will enjoy the picking for us are slim at best. Developers have shown us they have little to no interest in developing unique games for us on the Wii, aside from Nintendo themselves that is. Let me know when we get more than a handfull of good exclusive games on the Wii made by someone other than Nintendo.
The system itself is nice, but it's selection of game for me is slim at best, I repeat the selection for ME is slim.
I really like the Wii. It's the one console I dislike not having, due to limited space and my small screen -- but, if I could, I'd definitely have a Wii. Nintendo's always been my favorite game-company.

Are you telling me that Microsoft and Sony have zero shovelware on their system?

Nintendo is great. I practically grew up on their games. I don't hate the Wii and I think it has some great games available, but it hasn't brought me near as much as I had originally hoped for.

Everything that works properly and yes, thats how it should be done. Creating quality control protocols beyond that will only work against them in the future. Besides, the legal aspect of quality control varies from one territory to the other. Europe, for example, is not very fond of this kind of practice.

I'd say that the orange text causes the blue one. Objectively speaking, there are more than a handfull of good exclusive third party game.

So why does the 360 have more high rated games?Simply because the people who reviewed those games liked them, and nothing more. Those reviewers' opinions do not represent the whole gaming population in any way, shape, or form.To counter-argue what's being said in the OP and explain my feelings on how it makes little sense to me, let me start by posting the biggest and most important slice of the Wii's library:
etc... I know i didnt list everything.
^THIS is Nintendo. Its the main reason people love the company and the single most important aspect of every system they release - Their first party games. Their everlasting IPs.
"But those are all games we expect them to do! I want something NEWWWWWWWW" - Contrary to the popular forum-troll belief, they have created a bunch of new IPs this gen. Thing is, their flagship franchises will always be the face of the company and if you value their more experimental titles and 2 tier IPs, or demand new ones on top of their main series in order to keep interest, you dont like what mainly charactirizes nintendo. Period
Their main priority is not creating and ditching new IPs every other gen, its creating new ideas and gameplay experiences with existing ones!
Maybe you got fed up, maybe you never really cared about them in the first place. What i know for sure is that you cant hate a system that outproduced their previous console in first-party delivery, and love them for what they've always been known for at the same time.
Most of the time, Wii hate is just an accepted mindset perpetually fueled by teen ignorance, dumb trends and journalistic negativity and negligence. You obviously can genuinely deslike the thing, but if you do it despite claiming your love for the company, i'm gonna seriously doubt the veracy of that love, or that hate.
