That scene was pretty intense. Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite series and the story was unbelievable. I also love the ending scene during MGS2 and the crazy Matrix scenes in Twin Snakes.

I skimmed what I could, but it was just too long and ridiculous. That, and why some people like watching their games instead of playing them is beyond me.

The movie should have been like the game, the whole necromonger crap just doesn't fit with Riddick, IMO. Anyways, chilling scene. I really liked the opening adventure parts. Battle of Citadel is my new favourite. It's like dream come true for a Star Wars fanboy like me. I was so sad ME2 didn't have anything like this. Hopefully ME3 will have more things like this and (hopefully) space battle you can actually take part in.
I have a good sense of imagination and i can buy into a lot of things, but the MGS story and characters to me are a cross between highly bizarre and just plain WTF? Its as if they put Snake, who is a pretty cool character in a sea of rave junkies.
That custscene is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. The cinamatography has no significance or meaningful impact. I wouldn't be caught dead playing that game.

Yeah, ME1 really is better in music compared to ME2. Hopefully Clint Marsell will do ME3 justice by making something crazy awesome like his Lux Aeterna

I also loved when Shepard comes up from the rubble after the final fight Saren. I remember it giving me goosebumps.

The bosses were pretty standard. Other than the fact there were many ways to approach problems, sometimes in ingenious ways, there really isn't anything particularly memorable in MGS4 other than some cutscenes compared to previous games in the series.

Ive beat the game 7 times and I almost dare it at this point to get stale... I live in a world where a major gaming publication like gamespot thinks crysis 2 is on the same level as Mass Effect.... its just weird.

Lol, so many haters. Saying it's one of the worst cutscenes just because its goofy or something. So many haters because this game is just THAT good. Like the bestest of the best gets hated the most. Always. Anyways that is a really good cutscene and one of the best i ever seen in any game i ever played.
I thought it was a great game but I wholeheartly disagree with you on that being the game's best cutscene. In my opinion it was the series of cutscenes in Eastern Europe where [spoiler] Snake meets EVA in the church. [/spoiler]
