Vanquish is a cover shooter for lesser players who can't manage their meter and boost dodge, and play aggressively appropriately. A safety net for lesser players with a set of tools tru lads be expressive with. It's okay ghost, you're not a tru lad, you're shit. That's why baby's first neo noir story impresses you. MP3 is pretty mediocre game... also the division 2 shits all over this

The gunplay isn't even one of the highlights of Max Payne for me. Several 3rd person shooters over the years have done that better in my opinion. Max Payne is an awesome franchise though.

Not exactly the same but TLOU2 has some slomo options. Not sure if that's the closest new thing to mp3 since rockstar seem more interested in projects with larger scale/scope. Might feel much stiffer though as it's not exactly csgo in terms of responsiveness.

Max Payne 3 only has one thing going for it and that's the loop between pulling a trigger and the bullets hitting goobers. Admittedly it feels fucking fantastic, but the rest of the combat sucks. He is a typical Rockstar character who stumbles n bumbles around as he moves, there is butters landing lag on that dive move he normally had, a gimped weapon wheel, cover shooting, the whole 9 yards. Added bonus Rockstar made sure the overall pace of that game is a really shitty movie disguised as a video game.
**** topping Max Payne 3 after the fact, Vanquish was dunking on that shitty game 2 years prior. And I've had more satisfying combat encounters in PUBG before they added FP mode (because after that why play TPS mode?) than I ever do with the one n done affair that is Max Payne 3.

how many times can you dive in a game? uncharted has way more moves and ways to kill an enemy.

Max Payne 3 multiplayer shooting mechanics are much better, way more satisfying than Uncharted, you must play the game to feel the difference. Shooting in uncharted is not that bad (mp3 better), but I can't stand this "monkey on steroids" like behaviour when we speak about jumping and climbing. I have never played TLOU but judging on yt videos it's like uncharted without "monkey jumps", more to the ground, more hidding ect

Never played a Pokemon or Animal Crossing game. What I'm saying (well, said, months ago in this old thread) is that I find Mario Odyssey, Zelda, Luigi's Mansion 3 (my first and only), Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and even the new 2D Mario games and Mario Kart 8 (Would have liked it more with longer tracks.) more impressive and pure as games than Sony's clumsy watered down open world crafting pseudo-RPG upgrade scripted emotional cinema experiences. Sony's games feel like they're made with committee checklists. They were better as a Japanese company. I prefer Demon's Souls, Shadow of the Colossus and Gravity Rush Remastered over the works of Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Sucker Punch and the new SCE Santa Monica (Screw the God of War reboot. The old trilogy was better). They're just so boring as a video game company now. (I say as a video game company because they still do great work with home theater equipment and Blu-rays/Ultra HD disc.) I haven't played a new PS4 game since Spider-Man in the summer of last year, which I never even finished, and the only upcoming game that I want is Demon's Souls.
