And Crysis is pretty much buried now. It's almost forgotten. Nothing significant. Just another generic FPS with amazing graphics (Killzone 2, you're next).

Yeah, it's cool that you can crush houses and so. But the plot sucks - the entire game doesn't feel epic, and Nomad is just the worst character every in a FPS this generation. He's boring and tries to be cool.

Crytek didn't make this too big - something that others could evolve or think that this could be huge.

No, not really. But it's not something that should be ignored. And the game should have a big universe, too. Crytek focused too much on the graphics and the physics, but the players wanted to play and experience something epic. Crysis, though, provides the play with a pretty boring island. It's nothing huge or special.

Halo was great in it's day. Now Halo 3 takes up alot of my online time. If Halo 1 would have had an online aspect then it would truly have been legendary. Although newer games like COD:WAW and RE5 take up some of my time Halo 3 is always a true standby and I seem to always go back to it.

I play Halo 3 almost everyday, doesnt make it the best FPS, just the multiplayer compatibility makes it easy to pcik up and play wikth a mate whenever i want.

Not sure what you mean by that. My copy of Half-Life, the stand-alone expansions, and mods are registered to my Steam account but they weren't Steam purchases, they were retail. :? Go to the 'My Games' tab then click on 'Activate a product on Steam...'.

1. Halo is by no means the best FPS (maybe console FPS king)

2. FPS were ALREADY popular on the PC platform (particualry CS and HL)

3. When you say shout Halo and everyone will respond in HOWEVERshoutFPS in a country OTHER THAN USand the answer will be either Quake,HL,Doom and CS (PC GAMES i might add)

BTW to prove it the Gamefaqs poll today results in most people being from US and since the 360 is more popular than PC in US then its no surprise that most of the GS users will vote HALO. Again Gamespot=/=World
