This thread is wrong because the PS3 is actually in 1st place now. The Xbox is in second and the Wii U is in last, the Wii was never a current gen system, it was in the same gen with the GameCube. Even Miyamato said so, and you can't argue with Miyamoto :cool:

While I do think that these predictions are inflated, this article does state that Sony's claim of 70 million consoles shipped as of November 4, 2012. This is before Black Friday and the Christmas/Hannukah season so there were probably a large number of PS3s shipped worldwide within those 2 months.

Stop arguing with these people since you only give them more power. This all comes from a prediction from a company that has been very wrong in the past. They are not numbers from Sony or Microsoft. Some of the worst posters that the SW forum has want to keep this alive in order to keep the belief alive that the PS3 passed the 360. You are doing what they want. They more this is talked about the more credit this has even though this is clearly false. Do you honestly think people like themajormayor, Cheleman, Eddie-Vedder, kuraimen, and others care if this is true or not as long as it looks good for PS3?
