Its official, there is no point in owning a 3DSrussiaAK47
actually after playing the virtual console...its the definitive way to play gameboy and gameboy color games..
also the remade nes classics are great.

It does bother a lot of people, thats why people are NOT buying it.I love my 3Ds and I am looking forward to the 5 games coming out at the end of the year that look amazing. Plus we are finally getting a handheld Smash Bros. game.
Anyways, i find it funny when someone tells another person to just turn the 3D off. Why would you turn off the selling point of the console? If the 3D bothers them THAT much they probably shouldnt own one.

I personaly think the 3D needs to catch on a little more, then the 3DS will start selling.
I used to work at a movie theatre and a lot of the times people would turn down a 3D version of the film, not becuase it gave them headaches or hurt their eyes, but because they just didnt want to watch the movie in 3D. Most of those people havent even seen a movie in 3D yet to judge.
Yep. I see no reason her....
OMFG, IS THE PAPER MARIO? Every damn reason is now here.
ChubbyGuy40
Because the thought of playing the latest rehashes/sequels/remakes of games that I've already played thousands of times is really something to get wet over
Am I the only one who will wait for something new to come out for the 3DS before buying it?
Are you new to handheld gaming? I figured you would be used to it by now. If you want another analog for a camera, that Virtual Boy has two D pads.bbkkristian
Just because handhelds have lacked a second analog for the camera until now, it doesn't mean that it's alright. It was utterly stupid of Sony to exclude it from the PSP, and the fact that Nintendo is making the same mistake half a decade later is yet another example of how much of a joke Nintendo's consoles have become (other examples are the 3DS using the FC system (I don't care if you have only one FC per console, it's still idiotic), its lack of a multitouch screen, or the Wii U not having a hard drive).
This. I guess ruby/saphire remakes for 3DS soon. I hope not too soon, as I can;t afford one right now.
QQabitmoar
I hope never, as R/S aren't remake worthy.

It doesn't help that the 3D hurts your eyes and the battery life is awful.
Coolyfett
Do you know a way to solve both of those problems (besides going to a doctor about your eyes hurting), turn off your 3D, you'll save your eyes and your battery life. Win-Win situation.
Why would one turn of the 3D on the 3Ds? Cause his eyes hurt.Ugh, another 3DS hate thread. You can turn off the 3D (shock), graphics don't make the game (double shock), not all games need two analog sticks (most DS games required none) and there are a ton of games coming for the system later on. There are a lot of reasons to want a 3DS, why do you think I want it more than a Vita atm?

You've never played Super Mario 3DS, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Mario Kart 3DS, Luigi's Mansion 2 and Paper Mario 3DS.I bought the 3DS a week ago and i've already put 30+ hours into TLoZ:OoT. And while i've finished that game 5 times already (on various consoles) it's still lots of fun. And it will be the same with all the other remakes, Mario, Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, etc. And personally, while it took some getting used to in the beginning, my eyes are fine now. Even after extensive play. Turning of the 3D also defeats the purpose since the games look way better in 3D.
So while one may argue that the game line up is to slim to warrant a purchase now, that will soon change. I know that i'll be having lots of fun with my 3DS for some time to come.
[QUOTE="lawlessx"]I haven't checked and this is slightly off topic but who the heck would give a 7.5 to infamous 2...thats a bad reviewer. The 3ds is a modern virtuaboy. Great games but the majority of the people will tirn off the 3d to play. Its a fail.Sig of the month right here folks
acp39
I doubt that. Even if that's true now, it won't be when games like Super Mario come out where 3D is a major component of the game.

My question is how buying a system for games and not the gimmick makes a system a fail in the first place.
the point to owning a 3DS is the same as owning a Wii or why you want a WiiU. Because it's Ninty!!!!!!!
Can we at least wait until it's a year old before we make that call?:?
[QUOTE="russiaAK47"]The games :|One could argue that the 3DS is as of this moment still lacking in that front. :Pnow that the resident evil game has flopped, is there any reason at all in owning a 3ds? i mean everyone gets a headache when using the 3d, it only has 1 analog stick, the graphics are again sub par, is there any reason at all in owning a 3ds?
navyguy21
Right now, no. Later possibly. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the 3DS is going to continue to suck for a good bit of the year, but there might be some hope near the end and at the beginning of next year. I wouldn't give up on it so quick.[QUOTE="russiaAK47"]
