Wow, just wow. I know there are games out there that have glitches/tricks. But for a videogame, this level of sequence breaking and glitching is just ridiculous. This game was in development a long time and Nintendo didn't even have to worry about voice-acting or better graphics. This game is a total glitchfest and Nintendo needs to be more cautious when making games. This game is less than 9 months old, and has been completely sequence broken and has TONS of glitches. I mean, a ridiculous amount.

What is it about in-house Nintendo games that end up being great, but also end up being seqence-broken to death. Look at Metroid Prime. Yeah, Retro Studios is 2nd party, but itwas anin-house projectcollaborating with Nintendo. That game ended up being completely sequence-broken. Same with Ocarina of Time. Same with SM64. Now Super Paper Mario glitches are emerging, BIG ones.

I know all games have glitches of some sort in them. But Nintendo made games seem to have HUGE GAME BREAKING glitches in them. People who say Nintendo makes glitch-free games are so wrong. They have made some of the glitchiest games ever. Twilight Princess can probably be beaten in less than 4 hours now. That is how broken this game is. Now I DARE ANY OF YOU to name me a non-Nintendo made game (or Retro Studios) that has this many sequence breaks and glitches that allow you to skip one third of the game. I doubt I'll have any good answers...

I dont think it makes the game any less better. Also, the vast majority of games have alot of sequence breaking tricks. Just look up some of your favorite game speed runs and you'll see.

Glitches happen, be more forgiving and less whiney.  The games you speak of are still great games.

Same thing happened with me.. You find them by looking for them, and with a game of Zelda's stature, people will be going over it closely...

So glitches surface when people actively attempt to discover glitches. Huh. Seriously, gitches like this are strictly for speedrunners. Me? So what. Besides, if they're such a big, gamebreaking deal, why are they just being uncovered now?

You weren't looking for them, and neither was I. There are people (a small minority I think) that dedicate their time to finding glitches and attempting to sequence-break games. I do admit that I find the glitches interesting, but I shake my head at how Nintendo could allow such a thing to happen. I have not seen this in other games while checking youtube. I've never seen this level of glitchiness except for other Nintendo games. I'm not talking about graphical glitches or whatever. I'm talking about game-breaking glitches. Nintendo is notorious for releasing games that get broken. Now it can be argued that more people dedicate themselves to finding glitches/sequence breaks in Nintendo-made games thanother games. But you know...I've NEVER seen Halo with this many glitches, or Halo 2. Or GeOW. Or Rainbow Six:Vegas. Or even GTA games. And I'm sure glitchers and sequence breaking folk have played those games to death. But only 9 months...and Twilight Princess is destroyed with glitches and breaks. Unbelievable.

I played through the game without a single glitch. If you're trying to break the game, then of course you'll succeed.

Nintendo also releases a good amount of semi-linear adventure games that require alot of exploring.  That being said, that game type is more condusive towards sequence breaking.  It's not a big deal.

Not really. A game with such a massive scope as Tp and games like Metroid Prime cannot escape these plagues of sequence breaks and glitchs. You know why, takes way too long to find these glitchs. :( TP was probobly in testing for 4 or 5 or 6 months. No offence it came out great, and I would have hated to wait a few more months for them to find the glitchs the VAST majority of player will never know about or come upon.

In all actuality, the cannon glitch in TP is the only one you have to watch out for, other than that I've never seen one in the game. The only games that I've ever experienced random glitches were Adven t Rising, Halo 2, and Red Steel off of memory...

If you have to go out of your way to find the glitches, then they're not a problem.

Most glitches only become a problem when you're playing multiplayer and it gives someone an unfair advantage.

Its actually rather foolish to think that big games will come perfectly polished, without any bugs or glitches, good or bad. Glitches have spawned all types of gameplay. Bunny Hopping was originally an unintended glitch. Heck, look up trick jumping in Quake 3 to see the unintended effects of the rocket explosions in that game.

If anything, these glitches (unintentionally) add depth to the game, giving rise to the awesomeness that is speed-running.

Hell, watch the one hour twenty minute speedrun of Half-Life 2 - it is insanely glitchy!

I ran into approximately 0 glitches when playing this game, and I spent 80 hours with it and got every single item and did every little thing there is to do.

The only notable glitch (that i didn't run into) was the cannon room glitch. Other than that, nothing even noticable unless you are purposely looking to break the game. Ocartina of time has a million glitches, if you know how to find them, and thats one of the most polished games I've ever played.

Beaten in 4 hours? Hmm, how about the fact that shards of the mirror are missing? I would think that would cause a problem. Also, the lack of certain dungeon items would probably make it impossible to beat the last few dungeons. Then again, that doesn't even take into consideration the beginning of the game which has a good amount of dungeons before you ever start collecting mirror shards.

As for the glitches...who cares.

You deserve this..

A cookie? Awww, how thoughtful if you ;).

Most games generally have hidden glitches, those are really nothing to shout out "OMG, we have a ton of glitches". We should have be concern if there are a ton of negatively effecting glitches that can damper the game, which there is only one that should be looked out for in Z:TP. Generally if you looking to find glitches, then you shouldn't really worry.

That would be the "special" prinny from Disgaea.

Thinking back, I don't think I've ever run into any glitches playing any game. Some might consider "snaking" a glitch in some of the mario kart games, but it really isn't a glitch.

There are people who purposely set out to discover and exploit every glitch in a game, if you play through TP normally then you will find none whatsoever. I have completed the game twice and not once did I run into a glitch.

I'm not use to seeing LoZ: TP being played on a GC.

But anyway, you really only find big glitches when you look for them. In the time spent looking for them you might as well just play the game.
