It's official Xbox 1 more powerful than Wii

Although Nintendo never released specs for the Wii, Robbie Bach (Microsoft) knows the truth:

"...their (Nintendo Wii) ability to compete with something like a Halo or produce an experience like Madden on their system is going to be tough. They don't have the graphics horsepower that even Xbox 1 had. So it makes sort of the comparison set a little bit difficult." LINK

Of course Microsoft developers have intimate knowledge of the Wii's architecture, and have absolutely no reason to glorify themselves against Nintendo.

Do you believe Sony developers when they say PS3 games won't work on 360? 

I'm sure anyone from MS speaking about the Wii is a very unbiased person.

If that is indeed true then the 360 is about to be taken over by something weaker than its pre-decessor. Self Owned.

Exactly. It was all about reducing the size, not about increasing power. My theory is that the Wii was originally planned as a smaller Gamecube to reduce costs. It then turned into the Wii when Microsoft announced the 360. 

I don't know one way or the other if the Wii is more or less powerful than the Xbox, but but it would be nice if Mr. Robbie Bach had anything to backup his statements. 

It annoys me that there are no official specs for the Wii.

it doesn't matter, we should here this from someone who doesn't work with Microsoft or Sony. As long he is a Microsoft employee his credibility about Wii is pretty low.

That is what is extra funny about lemmings hyping this quote.  Aside from the fact that lemmings are proving themselves the most eagre of all fanboys to swallow PR spin from the corporation as if it were god's own truth....this MS guy is clearly looking at Xbox games and Wii games and acting like, because Wii games aren't showing graphical superiority it MUST be because the console isn't as powerful.

There is so much lying going on with this (and lemmings hyping it) that it only proves how few real gamers there are these days.

I wouldn't say Sonic games are the graphical showcases for Xbox, they don't look much better than the DC ones really. The Xbox has some games that look worse then Wii games but it also has a lot of ones that look better.JimmyT2

Then ur really easy to impress, the cube had more than just RE4, it had prime, rouge squadron, windwaker, TP, REmake, RE0, and crap load of others and those easily beat gaiden and riddick, o and the cube had the best loading times....

Doom 3 was ported by Vicarious Visions (not ID). Riddick looked much better than Doom 3.
