Trying to put any form of realism in a wii games is a epic fail, the jaggies make my eyes hurt. Good looking game for a wii game though.

Looks fantastic. A game I would definitely be picking up if I had a Wii.

The concept of feeling pressure to push wii graphics is so funny to me. Its like giving a snail a head start in the 100 meter dash.TheGrat1

You must be having a blast in the multiple HD graphic King threads that pop every 2 minutes then. So many people yapping about teh super graphics on yesterday tech *shakes head*.

What those graphics don't really show you however is the load times between areas, the fugly HUD and menu screens, the slight blurriness to everthing (or so it seems from the vids I have watched), the pretty rubbish shadows, the slow clumsy looking controls, and other little things like that.

Sure the art direction is impressive but I still don't think I'm really going to be impressed with this game overall when all is said and done.

That's just my take on it anyway.

But the best of last gen still look good, they dont look bad. A few of the top Wii games look just as good as the best of last gen. So no matter how far ahead the other systems look, Wii games can still look good.

I made a point of this in SW in 2004. I said that we have now reached the point in graphics where the best (at the time) wont look bad in X amount of years. Every gen before, you can say it looks crap in hindsight but i dont think you can towards the end of last gen. I havent explained it well, but i hope you see how im relating this to the Wii.
