This is how I see the GT Vs Forza thing-

GT- Is like some model. She has always got by on her looks and never had to worry about anything else. In the end the model is all looks and no substance.

Forza -Is the nerdy girl in high school that grew into a hottie. She always had tons of brains and was not ugly but not a full blown hottie. Several years later though the zits are gone, the braces on her teeth are off and she has become a hottie, She still has all the brains just the looks to go with it.

GT looks great but same as Forza. Forza also looks great but same as GT Forza also can add to the list better customization, better A.I., better damage, better physics, better car trading and so on.

jg4xchamp

Thats a horrible example, I would much rather mack Adriana Lima than some nerdy chick who was smart and grew up into a good looking chick but no Adriana Lima :P

Then maybe youll prefer racing real cars in the real world.

Is it the lighting, models or textures that keep this track from looking realistic? Maybe it's the dull shades. There's something about it which keeps me from admitting it looks nice.

I honestly don't see why people argue about the gameplay. Going from Froza 2 to GT5p I had no problems. They were VERY similar on how the cars handle. So much so that anyone that can drive in well in Froza 2 can drive well in GT5. The only difference was that meter thing that Forza 2 had that measured everything about your car. I think this top racing sim war should be more about the quality of the visuals and how much content they offer. Those who say Forza's physics are by far superb to GT are just blind fanboy and have never played GT5p, or they are comparing it to GT4 and in that case they also fail.

Looks like the first Forza 3 shots were bullshots, then.aaronmullan
Guess what...those tracks from first screens were playable allready in E3. Gamespot provided video with gameplay in high quality from this mountain track in 720p.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iGR9BqoGqk No offscreen..video in high quality. Just click on HD button FFWD vid to 1:57 and enjoy the gameplay showing environments looking like this...

The only real difference that I felt, was that gt5P lacked body roll, and there was very little feedback. I had a hard time going to gt5P becouse I felt I couldn't know what the car was exactly doing.

That's fine and I can see where your coming from, but Forza fanboys act as if their physic system is miles ahead of GT's. Even if it is better it's not by much. It's like how the cars in GT look compared to Forza 3. Better, but by not much. If their physics system was that far advanced then this war wouldn't even exist. Also we should honestly stop comparing bullshots until both are released.
