Just Finished The Withcer... best RPG from the last 10 years...

Better than FO2, Torment and Bloodlines? What about Deus Ex? (even though it is semi RPG).

If it is that good, then perhaps I should buy it instead of Mass Effect. I really need a new RPG that can tear me away from playing through the original Fallout now. :P

Read one of the many reviews for this game. Dont only listen to ppl who says this is the best RPG for the past 10 years. If so then this game would have won countless of GOTYs.

guess how many goty fallout 2 or planescape torment recd ?

I bet it one GOTY awards for the category RPG. And TC said Witcher was even better than those games u mentioned.

I just finished it not even an hour ago. It's a fantastic game, and it certainly is one of the best RPG's for quite some time, but it is a little rough around the edges. Not to mention that it practically redefines "morality" systems in WRPGS. While Bioware seems to just rename "Light side vs. Dark side" everytime the make a game, CDProjekt has managed to force you into decisions that don't fall under good or evil. In many respects, it seems to harken back to the days of the CRPG, which may put some off, but I found to be excellent. Anyway, it's an great game, and I'm looking forward towards my second play through.

well..considering his reviews are jokes and intended solely for laughs it would be preety sad if someone would treat them seriously.

Agreed with everything you said Agentfred. It is indeed one of the BEST RPG's I have played since Fallout 1 and 2 and BG2.

yes it does, actually. Especially when you consider that he didnt review the game because he only played it for a couple hours (his own words). You cant form a real opinion on something if you don't pass the tutorial, which is why his video isnt a review. It's a first impression.

So if your saying you share the same uneducated opinions as he does, then go straight ahead and quote him til the cows come home. It just makes your opinions on this particular game as worthless as his are. The fact that you couldnt even form an opinion on your own just adds to the fact that you are either A. very lazy or B. very stupid. It's your choice really. I'll even throw in C. all of the above

At least yahtzee admits that his opinions are based on very little time actually spent with the game and thus, shouldnt be taken any more seriously than a first impression should be. And he wrote the funny dialogue himself, obviously. So kudos for that.
