I would gave it an 8.5 or 9.0. It looks and plays great but it does have its share of flaws such as originality and that jetski mission.

Yes, MP does add replayability, but Uncharted has quality gameplay and has medals, great for those who want to brag about it.

Bioshock is one of the few that can actually provide a satifying SP that doesn't need MP. If it did have MP, the game would be that much better then.

Oh, and by the look of your gamertag sig, it is obvious that you have never played Mass Effect. Go ahead and call it flop -- you're only missing out on one of the best games of the year.

Not to sound like I am doing damage control or anything, but I honestly didn't mean that literally. What I am trying to say is that this gen, games are usually bashed by reviewers if they havea short SP and no MP.

Also, Mass Effect is a flop because it was hyped AAA. In System Wars, it's a nasty flop but in reality, it's a fun game.

The Thread Creator speaks the truth. After lampooning the demo for being uninteresting, I decided to rent it and was pleasantly surprised.

Its an adventure game that does many things right. Presentation is incredible with excellent voice acting, dailogue and characters. The gameplay is on the weaker side but because the enemies actually have good AI, it ends up being fun and tense.

I would give it an 8.5. Very little replayability and the platforming mechanics don't have much depth. However, the adventure is thoroughly enjoyable.

It really ruined the intensity of the game and just made me want to quit the game. Still, everything else is superb.

For those who have Uncharted, what do you think about the friendly A.I.? Personally, I think they do their job since they're not skilled and weak; however, I was playing the sniper level and Elena manage to distract the snipers and I got the change to shoot them. I feel somewhat mixed about them.

Actually, it's 8.9.

I think that's why this game took a long time to be reviewed... Competing game developers probably bought GS to give it a lower score as well as R&C.

Yeah right..this game is beautiful in every aspect..the only things that suck are when the hit detection is off a bit, and the fact that the game ends...the story is outstanding, the dialogue is great, Drake is a cool lead, graphics are gorgeous..especially the end..the soundtrack is phenomenal...there is a bunch of things to collect and unlock...I give it a 9.0..God War II is still my game of the year though..Kahuna_1

just a polite question, do u just on a ps3 or? imo i didn't have that much fun with it, it houghto fit has a good game on the ps3, and game that brought the ps3s grfx to current-gen console standards but with gameplay i though run of the mill copy cat...yeah the animation are nice but the gameplay is boring...not abysmal so i'd say 7.5 not 8...well maybe 8 just to be nice.

Yes, I know it's not original but it's very intense and the story is actually pretty good.I think the game deserved higher from an 8.5 to a 9.0.

I own a PS3 and Wii..my roommate is gonna geta 360 for Christmas..and I will play ME after him...but this game is one of the best next gen games yet...every game out now is just a copycat of something else, so everyone needs to stop using that weak excuse.

Uncharted is a must buy for any gamer. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

The graphics are #1 at this point in time.

Uhhh, play the game and stop making idiotic comments. Yes, it's a short game but the gameplay is quality and intense. The A.I. on both sides do their jobs well (unlike most games out there) and the story is actually pretty good, something that unexpecting for me.

And I'm sick and tired of hearing "It has no Multiplayer, it's stupid". Singleplayer matters more and Uncharted delivers.

A 9.0? Its a good game, but its majorly flawed. I'll say its probably one of the best console games graphically though. But once you get about half way, it all starts to feel like a rushed mess. Camera works against you when you need it most, being able to shoot through walls sometimes, but not others, getting stuck and drake starts to twitch and you can't control anything, and then you got that dredded far cry/crysis twist nearly the end of the game.

Worst of all. While it copies the cover system found in mgs2,kill.switch,gears, it doesn't let you choose if you crouch or not while in cover. That really affected gameplay majorly.
