GT5 might just come out around fall or the near the end of summer which is pretty close to 2009, so i don't Forza 3 will have a big enough jump in technology compared to GT5 to warrant being the "better" racer. The only reason Forza outscored GT4(not GT3) was because of the online, its that simple.

I just hope it has a bigger and better track selection. Forza 2's track offerings were pathetic.

If GT5 beats it in graphics I couldn't care less, I want improved damage modeling and refined phsyics. Just give me a better console sim and let the graphic wh*res keep their other games.

No i remembered that, do you suffer from amnesia? gt3= 9.4. The pinacle of sim racing had bumper car physics and got a 9.4, Forza got a 9.2 with damage.

Look up the ratings for Forza and compare them to ALL the GT series.. If a game doesnt look real it isnt the best sim imo!!

Well, to be fair, the Gran Turismo series has been released 10 times (yes, counting all the spinoffs and "prologues")in the span of 9 years it's been out.

GT5 > Forza 2

GT5 > Forza 3

I think that if they've been workingon Forza 3 for a while, it could certainly match GT5 for gameplay graphics. Alot of people have been trying to fool everyone into think that GT5's gameplay looks like the first picture despite the fact that the those aren't gameplay shots. The developers of GT have posted gameplay shots (2nd picture) but people seem to enjoy pretending that they don't exist and will continually post menu screens and other non gameplay pictures.

Obviously not gameplay due to the lack of instruments, on screen displays and not to mention thats an incredibly bizarre camera angle for it to be mid race.

Why do people keep pretending that this and various other gameplay shots don't exist? The graphics still put it in the top tier of racing games available and certainly make it a high contender for the best looking racing game ever.

That is exactly what I'm basing my experience on. In my opinion, the first Forza was better in every area besides graphics than GT4. Take it for what it's worth.

We'll see if GT5 makes me change my mind.
