Just Picked Up Heavenly Sword Oh My God!!!!

I'll be sure to bump this when God of War III is released and this guy is saying its the next coming of Jesus H. Christ.

I sure this game is great even if it 7 hours long. The demo was just amazing when I play it. The graphics were outstanding and the gameplay was fun.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma I played about an hour and returned. Yeah with no story and great gameplay it didn't do it for me. I didn't know what the hell I was playing for, no end to justify the means, so to speak. With work and play, not much time for games and movies, so it's all a rental to me IMO. Only games I purchase are multiplayer i.e. Warhawk. I don't play a game twice no time to. Games from Gamefly and movies from Netflix sit on my desk for weeks sometimes.

But back on topic it's so far a beautiful game, good gameplay (it can be a button masher or you can learn the combos) and good story. Nariko is digital eye candy. That's it. Not better than GOW.

soometimes i wander if you people are playing the same games as me... i haven't played gow2 yet but from what i played in heavenly sword it's almost a rip of gow but she has more combos to me and of course the game is just beautiful. on the subject of ninja gaiden's and heavenly sword's stories..(spoilers here)they are both similar.. evil guy is after sword/evil guy takes sword... evil guy attacks village/evil guy attacks castle... hero saves people in both.. hero fights baddies... but heavenly sword just tells the story in so much of abetter context.

Yeah and I've beat Halo 3 yesterday. It was good but it want be better than Killzone 2.

I can tell many of you havent played HS yet! If you actually did, you would be impressed by some facet of the game wether its combat, story, graphics and especially the scale of the battles.People who play this game do play it on "Hell Mode" after the first time. Its that fun...

Seriously the opening demo, legging it along the rope, so god fo war, although i got two tries before she actually fell of the rope, i wanted to see if she could run all the way. Without button mashing.

have you played the game? i seriously doubt it. btw god of war and ninja gaiden have to be two of the most overhyped games i have ever played in my life! i have not picked up god of war two yet but after the dissapointment that was god of war i have to say i am waiting to the game drops in price before i take it for a ride.

Woah, hold up there. Bad voice-acting? Imo it's one of THE best I've ever heard in a game - seriously. I love the expressions on Bohan when he's fuming about Roach and the voice acter acts it out perfectly! Actually, the narrative and voice-acting in this game is well above what I've seen on any system.

As for the NG lovers, I played the demo in NGS and the narrative isn't nearly as good as HS. From what I saw it was mostly text-based apart from the cutscenes and even then the voice actors can't be compared to HS's. Don't take this as a fanboy post because it does have it's problems (frame-rate being my personal beef) BUT I find the story and voice acting along with the overall animation of the cutscenes to be one of the best on any console!

dude god of war is so repetitive...heavenly sword has so many combos and to me it just looks better then god of war the way she does it.oh and btw did i mention the graqphics are insane? best on ps3 yet.

Just enjoy while you can the game can be over b efore you know it..

it will get much better. and yes, i was expecting a good game, but it's brilliant.

i wasn't going to buy it cause of the reviews... but i'm SO glad my girlfriend bought it for me. the reviews TRUELY don't do this game justice.

The acting, story and looks was some of the best I have ever seen in a game.

In my honest opinion HS should have just been a movie, The gameplay, controls and the enemy AI would make a little kid cry.

The last boss battle was also very disapointing.
