Just played Gears 2 again.. Much better graphics and MP than Uncharted 2

Yeah gears is way better in multiplayer, cause there is nothing like a game of lag. its so much fun to watch you and your friends, after having trouble just getting into a game for over 20 minutes finally get to play and see everyone jumping in random places all over the map with insane host advantage and bullet lag

Then you havent played Gears 2 lately....for these problems have been for the most part fixed, except for host advantage and the occasional laggy game but nothing major

idk maybe they patched it since then but me and my friends use to try and play for months after it came out in 08 and thats not any exaggeration at all to how bad and glitchy it was. If they fixed it then it took them waaay to long

I really wanted to like it... so much I love the maps, I loved the game in general yet the MP really killed it for me

It has been patched. I would suggest you give it another go.....far more enjoyable

The knock down smoke grenades have been taken out completely, they are now useless just like in the first :P

I found gears 2 to be extremely boring. It really didnt live up to my expectations. Thats just me opinion tho. As for the graphics, uncharted blows GeOW 2 awayjoel_c17

I see what your saying. I like the first Gears more because It felt more like a desperate fight than the second.

If there is a PCversion of Gears 2 it'll look better than Uncharted 2.

Also, calling MP better is probably just as big a stretch. Aside from the unbearable lag at times and the host lag problem, not to mention the launch glitches the game just wasn't up to todays standards. Uncharted 2's online is as polished as the single player, and it even features ranks, an economy for buying skins and boosters, and its own 3 player co-op scenarios. Granted Gears did Horde first and has story co-op, so you could say it has better co-op, but thats about it when its as bare bones and glitched as it is compared to Uncharted 2.

I would disagree that Gears 2 looks better than UC2, but I had way more fun with Gears 2. I'm not sure but if Uncharted 2 didn't have super nice details people would probably see it as a good game and not the "OMG SUPER OWNZ XBOX!!11!" game.

i disagree. U2 is much better game overall than gears2. but its unfair comparing them they are my favorite game this gen.

I thought UC2 looked better and I enjoyed UC2 multiplayer more. I do own both.
