Personally, I will never play a shooter on PC. I will always play the console version because of the controller. I think it's much easier to control. I find using a mouse and keyboard in shooters difficult.

A good comfortable key config, and an accurate sensitively will go a long way. I used to have my sensitivity cranked up to about 6.8 which might be considered low for some pc gamers, but I brought it down to around 3.8 and that along made it so much easier. Of course having a bigger mouse pad helped with that :P
Pretty much the opposite for console games. I always have it set on high, or near maximum. Mgo, I have all my setting on 9s and 10s.
I wonder however, if there is a program or anything at all to have some keys setup for multiple things like gamepads. That could come in handy I think for some of the more console centric games. If there is a way, I wouldnt mind knowing what it is, that's for sure. Anyway, When it comes down to it, I find the transition between the two setups virtually painless. Just a matter of getting back into the groove after sticking with either one for a long period of time.
