Mixed feelings.  Jack Bauer was sort of a take on Snake in the first place, who was based heavily on Escape from NY Snake.  On one hand he's got a decent voice for it, and can exhibit more emotions than Hayter.  On the other hand, he's got to venture off Jack Bauer somewhat because hes just burned out by now--and there also even doing another season, soon.

I wonder if Keifer will end up doing the film.

no one can yell like kiefer sutherland, so get ready for snake to start yelling at everybody lol. But I think this is cool, keifer is also an incredible actor.

It is sort of understandable.  It's childish, but Hayter did really shape not only snake, but Jack Bauer in ways, in addition with helping with the script.

Personally I think Kojima should have seaked out raw, undiscovered, talent.

Well he did tweet not too long ago that he was ehading to E3 for something and that he hoped his voice would be ok for it, so it could be Kojima trolling us and I still stand by my theory that he could be still in the game as Solid Snake but Kiefer as Big Boss.

If he's not in the game then he's being immature on twitter, but it would be funny if it was all part of some elaborate scheme

I went to see them in Dublin a while back and got to meet them :D it was a tiny gig and they came out to meet some of us who queued early

The people who get angry at things like this will scare Kojima out of making a fresh, good MGS experience. He already got shit for the best MGS game in the series because the main playable character was Raiden. Sometimes, I wonder whether or not I can really call these people fans.
