Dude, you've got to be joking. Cover system is useless? You haven't played KZ2? you really don't need it much in the 1st half of the game to be quite honest, on the 2nd half(atleast on veteran) you will need it, but even than i felt it always got in the way, felt like you couldn't shoot as fast. In my short and completely noobish run in the multiplayer(ive only done 7 matches of it so far :P) i never used it, but i guess thats why i wasn't beasting it early. On regular if I came out of cover I was slaughtered lol. Offtopic: Anna is sooo hot in Get Smart.

I beat recruit in 4 hours using the knife and no cover, I got up to the last boss on regular using all most only the knife in about 5 hours without using cover.
While the grafix warz go on between Killzone 2 and Halo 3, Crysis simply sits high above, looking down with a look of amusement, and silently chuckling to himself.

I disagree strongly. It showed off the Xbox's capabilities, nothing on PS2 looked as good. Right off the bat we knew XBox was going to have better graphics. Both Halo and Halo 2 had a 9 in the graphics rating with GS' old review system. While good (Halo 3 looks good as well), it was nothing too special.

That is, be a graphical showcase of the systems capabilities. Halo the first was fun, yes, but what really set it apart was how amazing it looked, it was THE showcase for the original Xbox. Halo 3 did not deliver. And, since this is SWs, here's some more flamebait. Halo 3 isn't even worthy of the Halo moniker since it clearly was made for the sole purpose of cashing in and didn't deliver on the original's purpose...to evolve console technology and push the boundaries of what had been done. Anyone can play through Halo 3 or KZ2 on it's easiest difficulty mostly using melee. It's EASY mode for a reason. Try that crap on Veteran/Elite or Heroic/Legendary mode. Hell try it on Trooper/Normal mode for that matter. Won't happen :|.
It's graphics were already pretty good. It had better rock textures than the rocks on the beach at the beginning of Crysis. It also had some hella good lighting.

To me, graphics are just a little detail that only gets noticed as soon as i start a game (Gears,Crysis,Uncharted etc.) Besides gameplay beats graphics entirely....
Definitely, I don't give a crap about graphics if it takes away from gameplay. KZ2 was missing one HUGE aspect: Co-op campaign. I mean, how hard is it to figure out that if you design a FPS where you run around with a squad or teammate the whole time, you should have the ability for the teammate/squad to be controlled by another player? IMO the co-op ability of Halo: CE was its largest revolutionary achievement b/c it hadn't been prominent before that game. KZ2 may look amazing, but I'd rather have co-op and a little bit worse graphics.
